sausage & muddled i would love to meet up.. we'll be in this part of the world until next spring at least.

dad's still in hospital and mum's being a pita atm.. which sparked a long discussion between dh & i about future plans.. my brain is now wired & he's gone to bed shattered.

we have decided one thing for sure.. we want to sell our flat.. use a bit of proceeds to travel to see friends in NZ, family in OZ and Canada.. then back here to work out if we stay here or move to scotland or to one of countries above.. we also decided we want to move to a more country location with decent size garden for kids to play, have no noisy neighbours above/next door through walls/ceiling & have room for a veg plot & chickens.. oh that's more than 1 thing :-)

grace screamed the place down when she got her jabs.. she's not needed any calpol but has fed almost non stop ever since! i've been thirsty despite guzzling water.

dandy what a let down of an eve i hope there's a good reason for her no show/contact .

Dandy

My brother, whom I love inordinately, has a dreadful habit of standing me up. He did it last week, I had not seen him for a year and am due to leave the country.

I saw him this week though and forgave him instantly . Funnily enough, he does this to all our friends and they all forgive him, as he's bloody funny and fabulous company when he's on song .

Fi I've had a couple of beers so am sending hugs your way without shame, you've had some rough knocks and you're unfailingly supportive to everyone. I hope that whatever you decide works well for you. The travelling - yes, yes yes!!

thanks! grumpy we're looking forward to seeing nearest and dearest in far flung places.. my french is well rusty and dh's nonexistent or we'd add france to the list of possible abodes too..

so the next question is do i risk waking G with trying a dream feed.. or just let her sleep?

Perhaps we should all descend on Grumpy with our assorted tents, caravans and camper vans en masse and test her hostess skills to the max!

Dandy what an absolutely horrid evening. Poor you. Such bad manners. I must say I look forward to those rare nights out I'm sure I'd be furious if it happened to me. You are patient to wait until 9pm.

We've had a busy night listing things on ebay to sell. We switched the account to a business account and it has nearly driven me insane this evening. Ebay isn't user-friendly at all and I nearly chucked the laptop out the window in temper.

DS1 and I have felt quite ill today. Not sure what is wrong but we have a headache, scratchy throat and I've had a bad tummy. I don't feel ill enough to do nothing, but I don't feel right either. Poor DS1 didn't even want to go to soft play today!

dandy it's a shame you had to do the phoning this am but I think you're a wise and gracious lady to let it go and not waste any more energy on it even though you must still be quite hurt about her lack of consideration. Sounds like a great night tonight though

So far today we're having a lovely quiet pottery day.. grace so far doesn't seem to be affected by her jabs yesterday either..

dh has just come into the lounge wearing the new nike lycra running leggings he got in TK Max this am.. yummy! i said he looks very hot in them.. which he does! but ds has also just announced 'daddy you look hot in those' lol!!! sometimes i forget i have to watch what i say these days..

Quick check-in but I see it's very quiet.

Sadly our last guinea pig has died - I think being on his own did for him. He's currently laying in a soft bed of hay, awaiting burial with his friends. We all had a wee snivel, they were such sweet little things (I would have guinea pigs again in an instant).

Well, I shall return to packin' & sortin' and pop back on later to see if anything's happening.

Momi Happy birthday to your beautiful little Saskia
