A lot of them seem to have hidden stuff that's good for littles, thought it might be nice to have a thread?
Science museum - pattern pod, garden
Discovery story centre -Stratford
Childhood museum in Bethnal Green - sandpit, light tubes, soft play
London transport museum - mini kitchen, buses to climb into etc
Museum of London docklands - mudlarks soft play area
Any others?

Has the refurb of the National Army Museum finished yet?

There was always lots of hands on stuff there, plus a rather good soft play. And very good weekend events - animals in war being one we really enjoyed - camel in the car park and lots of info about how to cope with carrier pigeon poo.

I've just had a Spring 2017 flyer from NAM - they say the reopening is in late March, but didn't specify a date.

The lecture programme for adults is up and running again (various venues)

Thanks squirm!
I've now been to the maritime museum on Greenwich and they have a great bit for little ones

The v and a museum is great imo. Not loads of entertainment but it's far less crowded so they can toddle around. Has little interactive stations like feeling textures in Chinese pot area or glass blocks to build in great exhibition. In summer they can paddle in the large fountain in the centre. Often have random shows also like we saw a great puppet Chinese New Year

V&A childhood museum in Bethnal Green and the Museum of London Docklands. Ditto to all previous suggestions.

Museum of water and steam in Kew is amazing. Loads of cool steam engines, a steam train ride around the grounds, a whole room of toy trains on tracks, and some really good water play.
