Where do I start? From start to end our much awaited holiday (the only one we wil get this yr) was awful. From dirty challet to run down complex and everything broken and entertainment not running and generally not a good time for us or kids. Have we a hope of getting our money back? I've put complaint in writing to manager of park in question and they just said they would pass on my concerns to general manager but heard nothing. Any chance?

We had an awful Haven holiday in New Quay (Quaywest). Hardly anything was open and their were big diggers all around doing the outdoor pool. We complained and got a full refund of the holiday. Hopefully you would have taken photos as we did. At first they were trying to fob me off but 1 email with all the photos attached and a promise that the daily mail were the next to hear of it and we had a full refund and 25% off the next haven holiday.

We had an awful pontins holiday in southport last year. We booked through a travel group as we are from Ireland, and complained to them. They contacted pontins for us and they sent us a £50 voucher for our next visit. We replied- returning the voucher- saying this was an insult and we do not want a money off voucher as we will definitely not be returning, and a few days later got a cheque for full amount back!

Should have taken photos but didn't :-( you've just made me think of someone else I can complain to tho it was a Sun holiday (which ended up costing as much as a normal one:-/) so I'll complain to them!
