I think that covers us all?

Excellent work!

It's turned into the most miserable evening. The thought of having to go out is painful. I 'd like to sit on front of the fire and watch a movie. Made worse by the fact that it's my turn to drive so I'm on the lemonade.

if you build it, then get in the bath, they will come

poor newly fledged thread, looks so vulnerable

I'm sure we'll manage to fill it with shite in no time.

ah me too! is a bit swirly out there

but is my first chance to see the man-in-my-life too, but is awful drive though don't mind not drinking but would much prefer to make omelette and then have even earlier than usual night

we are eating stupidly early, at 6pm, because of ME (need to eat porridge before 6am if am running at 9 Blush) so is probably important not to be late

you will have fun once there? do you like dp's partner and the others?

Yeah, DPs partner is lovely and I like her husband, I'm just being a lazy arse. I might feel better after a bath but there's no hot water until the heating comes on at 6.

Is your race tomorrow?

Wow. I saw the title and instantly knew this was the right place for me HmmGrin

Evil bastard 5k trainer finishes off this week's sessions with a fifteen minute run, no rests. I think I may be clinically dead.

yes! but am not 'racing', am pacing one of my Slow Joggers (started a group for people who felt intimidated by our proper running club, they end up joining the real one eventually so it's been great) because she is preparing for first half marathon at the end of the month

so we are aiming for 11 minute miles and quite possibly will be last, club runners are a speedy breed, but as long as she enjoys it and isn't put off the bigger event it will be brilliant

am also teaching our groom how to run as in going out with her and helping her find her pace, is a very satisfying activity, she did her first proper 5k today

the bad thing is when people think am v lean because of running when in fact it is the result of Advanced Self Loathing and Suffering that hopefully cannot be taught

Well, looking in the mirror before my bath was a bad idea. Apoplectic Worzel Gummidge and Boris Johnson's livid celeriac lovechild.

NO mirrors in my house

daughter has a little one for make-up

but generally can't do mirrors although an extremely nice thing happened at the gym when I was on my way in and someone with amazing legs was coming out and she was my reflection Shock (do not have amazing legs in real life, was fab trick of the light though)

I've got as far as picking out my clothes for tonight. I feel that's a start.

Mitchy you can spend the evening thinking about what you're going to do with him later. Always fun.

YES to Mental:NOS, BTW.

And I really want an expensive field ornament a pony, now. Insanely Envy of beautiful horsie. I do have a small back garden; perhaps if they make horses about two feet long?

I'm currently watching a German WAG type doing the actual worst fake crying I've ever seen, on RTL.

Oh good, Die Schulermittler is finished. German trash TV is even worse than ours. Now it's news. A thing about the trains, one about the queen (our one) and terrorism, and something about fat people with no heads - KAMPF DEN KILOS which I can only assume is the German equivalent of Battle of the Bulge in sheer hilarity stakes.

this is the one am trying to find any a nice home for

of all his Real Handstands over the years we have only captured this but of course when he is really going for it he's bolted first and before stopping dead to rodeo with serious force and if you're still on board, rinse and repeat
