If no deal is pretty much off the table following the parliamentary votes tonight then the choice is ‘shit deal’ or no Brexit.

It’s clear which Remainers would prefer but what about Leavers?

Parliament will not let No Deal happen. I'm even more convinced of that now.
My perfect outcome is a second referendum with only TM Deal or No Brexit as the options. I think EU would pause A50 for that. And then common sense prevails and we get No Brexit. Lots of noise and maybe some big political changes afterwards but No Brexit.
But that's just my dream . I'll take TMDeal if it means No Deal is off the table.

Admitting we were wrong and stepping back from the brink would show that the UK is a strong and mature democracy.
Cancelling Brexit would show populists that if they talk bullshit they will get found out and lose in the long run.

My primary focus is that today, hopefully, means the chances of a No Deal crash out - with food shortages and lack of medicines - are pretty much dead in the water. That's something to celebrate, IMO.

Other stuff, whether it's Norway+ or (even better) calling the whole sorry mess off, would just be icing on the cake.

I'm feeling far better tonight than I have done for a while.

May has no majority for anything - the DUP have left her behind.

I think no deal is not an option after Grieve's amendment.

May's WA is dead in the water.

We may have some further periods of uncertainty but not as bad as if no deal was still on the table.

Admittedly the next few days will make interesting watching.

If Brexit is not delivered, then there WILL be riots and rightly so. Over 1.25 million more people voted to leave, than remain. If the remoaners think Brexit can be stopped then they are more fucking stupid than I thought. We are leaving the E.U. get over it!

I think you can guarantee that there will be riots from EDL thugs and the like. I doubt if others will riot. Farage hasn't been successful in getting out large numbers of people for his cause.

1.25 million people was two and a half years ago. Come January, with elderly Leavers dying and younger likely Remainers coming onto the Electoral roll, the position is likely to reverse. In a democracy people are allowed to change their minds.
