Another new thread! This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

Kicking off with a roll call:

MMC 8 weeks, discovered at 11 weeks in April. Natural MC 1 week later.
Cycle 4 post MC, cycle 3 TTC
Currently 3dpo

@Laney79 Want to continue this here... I see a line too! I know you're nervous but if you're not sleeping then I would definitely go and get myself a test. I still remember the night before I found out I was pregnant, i was awake from 4am too and trying to distract myself with early, early morning tv before I said 'sod it' and got my bum to Boots. Best £13 I ever spent.

Hi, can I join? I’ve been following the previous thread but haven’t plucked up the courage to join until now.

Age 30, TTC #1
May 2018 - MMC at 11 weeks, measuring 9 weeks, had seen HB at 8+5 - passed naturally
July 2018 - MC at 6 weeks, passed naturally after being poked for bloods several times as they suspected PUL

We decided to start trying again as waiting a cycle before trying didn’t really get us anywhere as we had the 2nd miscarriage. Bit worried and anxious about the fact that I’ll never enjoy a pregnancy fully due to these losses - trying to get over that hump!

Possibly, perhaps, maybe got a squinter on a IC test this morning (pic on previous thread)...hoping it may be a BFP on a frer tomorrow!

Thanks @TedLife - I'm trying not to get too hopeful but have just bought frer-£2 off at the local pharmacy!

This is my 2nd cycle after MC - AF due probably in a week - don't know how long my cycles are as didn't have period while on BC. This was my 1st cycle when I tried OPKs but didn't get even a hint of lines - not sure why (didn't ovulate, due to age or that I drink too much water so gets too dilluted?).. so who knows. Confused

Trying not to get to excited just in case. Wondering if I can hold out till Friday to test again...even with a frer. Thinking that way surely I should get a clear line -that would be CD30 and past two cycles have been 25/26 days....

Took 5 years to get pregnant only for it to end in heartbreak.

Thinking about getting back on the TTC wagon again but terrified of another 5 years of disappointment and another MC if I do get pregnant.

Welcome to the newbies even though it's sad we all ended up here.

Hi ladies!

Laney79 I don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily, but I too could see a squinter on the test you posted on the previous thread. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you. xxx

Boboelephant sorry it didn't work out this time. Don't give up!

Role-call update for me:
TTC #1
MMC in March ERPC at around 11 weeks, baby stopped growing around 6 weeks I think.
CP in May/June
Currently cycle 5 post MC.
CD... No idea, actually. Not really putting much thought into it this month. Don't think I'm in the TTW yet, but hard to know as last month I don't think I ovulated and period was a week late so I've sort of given up on trying to know what my body is doing and letting it sort itself out.

@knitkitty are you using opks at all or anything to try and track ov? Interesting if you didn't ovulate and had late af, I think that's where I'm at. I'll be grateful to see af when she turns up!

KnitKitty · 15/08/2018 19:45

Yukka no I don't track. Up until now my periods were very predictable so I didn't feel the need for tracking. I'm a bit loathed to do any tracking as I have a very strong feeling it would make me too overly-obsessive and stressed about TTC and scupper my chances rather than help them. I know this isn't the case for a lot of women though, just my personal feeling.
