Report

What did you get JM?

Report
jessicasmummy · 20/06/2005 21:58

Rhinocort nasal spray and Sodium Cromoglicate eye drops

Report
ButtonMoon · 20/06/2005 22:04

My nasal spray is Rynacrom and contains that sodium stuff. Doc did say it wasn't much cop though...I said I would see him in a few days if they don't work...he just laughed Reading the leaflet that comes with it says it is more of a prevention and you need to take this regularly even when you have no symptoms. oh well only a month or so left to go of summer hayfever season.

Ooooh feel quesy this morning. Also, must find out where the bloody cockrel lives near me so I can go gag him in the morning!

Hester - sorry to hear about your fall in M&S. I skidded over the other day at my mums and felt really miserable afterwards. Also walked into a door last night at work. At least nobody saw me do it!

oh it's going to be a hot one today. may just go to the gym and sit in the air con watching tv.

anyone got backache yet, mine is killing me already. As for swollen fingers - not sure i can get me wedding rings off either. Do they really cut them off!?

Report
fastasleep · 21/06/2005 09:28

Ahhhhhh hayfever strikes again...poo. I've turned into the clumsy mummy from hell too I've broken 3 glass things in the space of three days and a teapot just hope I can manage DS and foldy pram and the buses today lol..

Glad you've got a plan of action Hester! I was reading up on the talipes just so I didn't get confused, but probably haven't seen anything that you haven't already seen iykwim... do you think you might get away with physio and casts/splints but no ops? That would be great! (I read about some other treatments that sounded not so great and suddenly realised what a breeze this kidney condition is, even with operations!)

I don't think I'm gonna bother getting that nasal spray.. sounds crap! Poor sneezy ladies xx!

Oooh and DH (finally after hours of begging him) came and sat and watched my belly and saw Sophia do a little dance..yay!

Hope you all manage to survive the pollen and the stupid obstacles that have been put by men everywhere...like stairs.

Report
fastasleep · 21/06/2005 09:30

Lexie they do cut your rings off you know, the metal can start cutting into your fingers and do nasty things (my gran had that happen)... try squirting washing up liquid on, or vaseline and giving them a good wiggle.... just in case

Report
jessicasmummy · 21/06/2005 09:32

ive had to take my rings off already - did with jess too though!

Love this new thread title know what you mean about sounding like a porn flick! It's cooler where I am today (blackpool) which is a relief.

It's my wedding anniversary today so going to have a lazy day and going out for dinner tonight, which I'm looking forward to. (haven't a clue what to wear though!) Hope everyone's well and have a good day

I have got the backache but mostly because I felt so energetic yesterday that I weeded the garden, washed the car and spent 30 mins in the spare room on the exercise equipment, as well as being a camel for ds which involves a lot of crawling around on the floor making camel noises .

I suffer with the hayfever. Not because I get it myself luckily but because dh and ds both do.

I am living off my licky sips ice lollies at the moment. Thank heavens for lakeland.

Phew, found you!

Talking of hot bumps - today I encountered my SECOND pregnancy perv. This one sat next to me on the bus and rubbed his arm up against me until I had to say, "EXCUSE ME YOU ARE SQUASHING MY BUMP!" He immediately apologised and jumped off the bus! (The first perv - did I tell you this already? - was a couple of weeks ago; waggled his tongue at me and said, ooh pregnant p.) Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon? I'd heard of it but never actually dreamed I'd come across a man who finds the sight of a hot grumpy ageing pregnant lady sexually alluring!

Anyway, on to nicer matters. CPT - how brilliant that you're feeling movement. It's the biggest thrill in the world, isn't it?

fastasleep - yes, I'm beginning to look into all the treatment options. Turns out my local hospital is renowned for its treatment of talipes using the Ponseti method, and Great Ormond Street (which is pretty near me) has a fantastic paediatric orthopaedic centre, so I'm very lucky.

Felt a lot better today, and to celebrate went out and bought a load of poncy cashmere wool to knit babyclothes with - you know, the kind that you then realise are never going to get worn because vomit will get stuck in the weave and they can't be machine washed . My baby may have little flipper feet, but she's going to be the best-dressed mermaid on the postnatal ward

Pregnancy pervs - not encountered one myself, but I do get a lot of junk mail through my inbox at home, and the other day I got "see hot pregnant chicks in action". Needless to say, I was like "OH MY GOD!" and deleted it in horror. So obviously there is some market for it!

Yesterday felt really rough - had to rush to the loos in Tesco to be sick. Not sure if I was over heated, over thirsty, over hungry or if the walking around the aisles I did was just too much for me, to say I'd been sat in meetings all day and hadn't moved much. I'm a lazy beggar.

Eurgh, got a wedding reception to go to on Friday, really don't feel like going and haven't got a clue what to wear. Oh, and a friend of DH's family is getting married and we've been given a reception invitation for that, but it's on the 15th October. I'm either going to be huge and fed up and overdue by a few days, or else I'll have a little baba! Said we'd reply that we'd go, but circumstances mean that it's likely we wont be there!!

Still TOO HOT for my liking! Jess has "discovered" my bump and is pawing at it every chance she gets - cute I hear you all say - not when she digs her nails in!!!

Off to Toddlers this morning for a bit of peace and quiet - let her run riot there rather than in my house! Home for a nap and lunch and then DH will be home at 1pm - HOORAH! I love it when he does an early shift! Not so good when you hear the alarm go off at 4am!!!

No experience of pregnancy pervs yet... and touch wood i dont! We all need a t-shirt saying "Step away from the bump!"

No further pg symptoms here - jsut feel big fat and hot! Asked DH last night if he could perform a cs for me because I was so fed up!!! All in jest of course, but the thought of another 2 months of heat is driving me mental!

I'm not feeling so good either Elf [queesy look] I think it's definately the heat!
