Hello new thread we should keep numbering them just to see how many we get through in the next 9 months!

I will copy a link to this thread onto the old one so people can click straight over.

Hello all. I am holding my place as I only MN from my phone and tend to use threads I'm on to find where I have been. PS This will be dc #5 for me not 1... (not that I mind appearing young, unfrazzled and childless...)

Hello all, nice to see all the newbies since I last came on. blondecat and MrsTwinks, sorry for your losses Sad
I am having a slightly crap time. Been very very sick, constant nausea and vomiting at least twice a day. I was ok with it though because I felt it meant that the pregnancy was a bit safer. However I went out for dinner with friends last night and when I nipped to the loo I found bright red blood just like a period. I left straight away and came home, rang the gynae ward which is the only place you can phone out of hours round here and they sent me to a&e. 2 hours at a&e and they've booked me in for a scan today at ten. Still bleeding and passing clots now. Also I think the sickness has worn off a bit. Feeling very low. If it all goes wrong this will be my third mc out of four pregnancies. Sad Sad Sad

9+0 ??!

Sorry to hear you're suffering today pontouf I hope your bean is hanging on in there. I have known lots of people with bleeding at your stage that have lovely babies now. FX.

I've had the queasiness start today, really phlegmy in my throat and lots of saliva too (tmi!). I may have to move to black decaff and avoid the milk!

Thanks everybody, yes my DH is coming to the scan. Thanks for all the responses, made me cry! Bleeding has slowed a little bit and looks a bit brown now. Trying not to get my hopes up. Will update later.

Hi all- back from the honeymoon- had lovely time but am feeling very jet-lagged!

So sorry to see sad news on the thread. pontouf fingers crossed for your scan today.

I'm tired, but my boobs don't seem as sore and I don't have any other symptoms at all. Not had any spotting, but have had tummy cramps- also very constipated- lovely! Does anyone know if nhs will offer a scan for reassurance even if there's been no spotting? I'm driving myself a bit neurotic with the worrying- dh has said we can get a private one if I want. I just don't know if I want to go down that route. GP surgery opens at 9, I'll see if I can get referred.

8+2 - shhhh... I've never been this pregnant before!!! Xxxx

Sorry you're having such a worrying time pontouf. Hope your scan brings good news.

wishfulthinking hope your gp can help you out. Glad you had a good honeymoon.

growyourown77 · 28/08/2012 09:35

hi wishful - if you're worried and you can afford the private scan I'd say go for it. I did that when my GP missed my ectopic, so I was even more glad that I went as it probably saved my life!

Around out way private scans are £50-100, which was far less than I initially thought they'd be. I know not everyone can afford this, but if you can then the reassurance will be worth it.

I'm having the extra scans at the mo due to EP history, but know that I will find the wait from 6-12 weeks a 'mare. So am poised to potentially get a 10 week scan if I feel the need. I may not want to, but hey, this is a bit thing we are all going through, filled with wonder and obstacles too, so if you want to get that reassurance, then go for it.

Sorry to hear all the sad news over the weekend, I am thinking of you all.
Today I shall be heading home as we went to a music festival a couple of weeks ago and dc's and I have been staying at my parents. I have packed the car full of all our camping stuff ( would have been nice to have a hand but as no one knows can't really tell them why I would need help)
I now face the 3 or 4 hour journey home, to an empty house as dh is working to 9 tonight & I don't know what food wew have in.

Pontouf Good luck this morning, I hope it's all good news. Thinking of you x

Cadmum I am so glad there is someone else here with a larger family, thought I was all alone in my madness Grin

Hope you're all well, morning all bloody day sickness aside! Still feeling constantly nauseous and dizzy here. No energy what so ever. Not great with the kids still on holidays.

But onwards and upwards at least it's a good sign. I'm still expecting some spotting or bleeding. I have bled in almost all of my pregnancies. Usually starts somewhere between 6 - 12 weeks! And scares the hell out of me every time. Fingers crossed I won't get any this time around.

Off to get the kiddies properly dressed (their dress sense leaves a lot to be desired, must take after their mother Wink) then out to the park whilst we have a nice day.

Hello all! Just an update. Had the scan and everything is fine! Saw a strong little heartbeat and fat little arms and legs just waving at us! Am so so relieved, honestly thought it was the end this morning. Looks like this baby is going to be an attention seeker before s/he is even born! Hope everyone else is having a wonderful day. Smile

One of my best friends is getting married tomorrow so we're off down to my parents now to drop DS off and then off to the Cotswolds tomorrow. Just need to worry about the nausea now. Yay!

Hi all I was wondering if I can join? This will be DC#2, due 9th April I think. Am feeling quite sorry for myself with constant nausea and headaches, like the worst hangover ever! If this little bean sticks it'll all be worthwhile though. I had a MC before my DD so I find this stage v stressful and worrying. I had an early scan last week and there was a teeny baby with a heartbeat but also an empty sac which is a bit sad.
