My DH has died in a car crash today.

Is anyone up?

I can’t sleep.

My husband was killed in a car crash today.

We’d just moved house and he was so happy.

I want to move, I am so sorry to read that. How awful.

I'm not surprised you can't sleep.

Have you anyone with you? Anyone you can call? No one should have an issue with you needing company on such a night.

People often seem to get comfort on here by sharing stuff about their loved one...noting specific, anything at all that comes form you brain to your fingertips.

The police have his phone. I’ve managed to contact a few of his friends but I don’t have access to all his contacts until I get his phone.

I don’t know what I need.
I don’t want to upset my son any more than he is already. I just need to break down and I don’t want to put him under stress than he already is. I know he will try to be strong for me but it’s too much for him.
