N/C for this.

DD - fortunately adult - was browsing the Swatch watches site and was looking at their pages of art where you can choose a section of a design or old master to have as the design on your watchstrap.
Great idea.

Not sure about this "art" design though.,0

Would you wear it?

Making me dizzy just looking at it but it's quite fun

Not my cup of tea. Struggling to be bothered about it though.

I must be getting old as it just looked like a dotty pattern until I looked closer shock

WatchIsThis Fri 18-Oct-19 14:39:10

No-one bothered that kids could see it?

Is it less offensive because it's a cartoon and in pretty colours?

IfIHadAPenny Fri 18-Oct-19 14:41:23

I wouldn't wear it, but it hasn't offended me.

PennyRoyal Fri 18-Oct-19 14:42:52

What am I missing? Can just see swirls and lines!

antisupermum Fri 18-Oct-19 14:43:32

Not my taste but not offensive. It's cartoon genitals, not full frontal nudity. I find the little anus at the end of the bottom strap a real touch of class grin

What child is browsing Swatch website? And even then - it’s Cartoon genitalia. Maybe they’d have a giggle. I struggle to be clutch my pearls over it.

Kids can see their own private parts all day every day. What do you think will occur if they should happen to catch sight of a tiny cartoon dick?

Sunflowersok Fri 18-Oct-19 14:49:27

That’s the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen

GameSetMatch Fri 18-Oct-19 14:49:42

Who designed this and thought ‘great, lovely design these will fly off the shelves’ shock these will end up in the January sale.

AloeVeraLynn Fri 18-Oct-19 14:51:21

Oh no. Boobs and willies. Won't someone think of the children.

Cryalot2 Fri 18-Oct-19 14:52:09

Not really me, but I think if you like something then wear it.

it's real classy to certain people but for the rest of us, it's shit.

morrisseysquif Fri 18-Oct-19 15:01:16

No, plus I'm of an age when I need to see numbers on a watch.

Does anybody buy them these days? I want a watch to do more than a watch, mine has GPS, counts steps, takes text and call notifications etc.

Tia3251 Fri 18-Oct-19 15:02:17

I would not wear it. Did I read right and it’s like £97!! To expensive in price and very cheap looking imo

MeTheeAndACupOfTea Fri 18-Oct-19 15:06:18

Yes. I would wear it. I think its fab.

WatchIsThis Fri 18-Oct-19 15:12:43

I'm surprised it was produced by an art student.

"Discover the 5 artworks that have come from a collaboration between Swatch and the University of Art & Design in Lausanne (ECAL)! Art students have added their personal flair to the Swatch canvas."

Apparently this design is "Humour and lightness for a cheeky project which provides fun through thumbnail sketches of handdrawn female and male privates."

When I was at school, a lot of the boys' notebooks had very similar doodles all over them.

I thought it was liquorice allsorts until I zoomed in!

Why, what would happen if some kids saw it?
