DD - fortunately adult - was browsing the Swatch watches site and was looking at their pages of art where you can choose a section of a design or old master to have as the design on your watchstrap.
Great idea.

Not sure about this "art" design though.

I never even realised it was ummm..... 'body parts' until someone said. As a pp said, it looked a bit like liquorice allsorts at first glance.

It's ok I guess. I wouldn't buy it, but I wouldn't care if someone else was wearing it. I doubt many people will notice what's on it actually.

I think it's quite fun in a cheeky way! I'd wear it (I love Swatch watches anyway) and I don't think that, unless you actually pointed it out (and had a magnifying glass to a real-life scale watch strap) you'd really see what's there?

I have to admit that the first time I thought I'd clicked on the wrong image in close up because I could see the issue - it was only after reading a few more comments, and looking again, that I saw what was there in cartoon form (and I'm 'old', with more than enough life experience to know what looks likes what!).

So, no, I don't think - unless you really drew attention to it, it would be noticed much in real life by anyone who wasn't already aware of 'what's what'. And, even if they did, there's a difference between knowing it's 'ok to be ok' about female/male body parts, and being horrified that someone is using them to titilate. These don't look at all like they're being used to titilate at all.

Blimey, some of you need to read 'How Mummy Laid an Egg', and then you might get your knickers in a twist (it's by Dame Babette Cole, and aimed at primary school children, and yes - it's all about how babies are made... and there's a lot more in that book than there is on this watch strap!)

What would happen if a kid did see it? It’s cartoons of body parts, it’s not exactly porn. To be honest it took me a while to realize what it was ... I doubt a kid would necessarily notice! I just though it was a pretty pattern for quite a while!

If the kid seeing it is that innocent they would have no idea what the pictures are! And if they do know what they are then their innocence wasn't really there in the first place so it's hardly ruining them is it!

I wouldn't wear it as it looks like a kids watch and would clash with my outfits!

I like how you can move it around and then pick your own print. You could just have bum holes. I think it's funny but don't have the money to buy a watch that I wouldn't wear all the time. I can imagine how embarrassed my kids would be if I wore it!

I love the colour but the jazzy design makes it difficult to see the hands and if you can't see what time it is easily it's pointless, isn't it?

I don’t like it. It’s designed to be a kids watch. My DS’s friend likes to draw willies on girls books at school and his DM thinks it’s hilarious. I’ve had to tell my DS that girls might not find it funny, especially as they get older. So it’s a no from me to having a watch with willies on.

It's hideous and I would look ridiculous wearing such a childish design, "oh, body parts, how hilarious" Hmm

but so what if kids see that? At worst if they do notice you'll be the grown up wearing a watch with bums and bits. Might make one giggle. Adults will cringe. Big deal.
