DD - fortunately adult - was browsing the Swatch watches site and was looking at their pages of art where you can choose a section of a design or old master to have as the design on your watchstrap.
Great idea.

It looks cheap & it's a tacky idea. The art student concerned doodled genitalia basically: how very 'artistic'. What demographic do they think would buy this? Reg, Curly's Supermarket manager boss from Corrie years back springs to mind.

I got the black and white swirls from the link too. Couldn't work out what was wrong with it other than it giving me a headache. I understand now I've seen the other posts though!

I kind of almost like it in an arty way (more the big square pic) - and also hate it as a watch. Agree with WatchIsThis that it looks like the kind of willies kids draw themselves. The bumholes are kind of funny but the female bits are more gross somehow.

No I wouldn't wear it but I like minimalist watches. If someone did wear it I'd imagine them to be an arty type who works on Dazed & Confused or something.

I wouldn't wear it even if I did still wear watches. I'm not a prude, but this strikes me as trying too hard to be funny/cheeky. It's just bizarre.
I do like the idea of being able to have part of an old Master painting on my wrist, however.

I thought it looked like cartoon mice. They need little lines of jazz coming out the end to be authentic (teacher and have seen many drawings of little nobs over the years)

The fact that so many people get hung up on the mere existence of genitals that spend most of their time tucked away, minding their own business, is (I imagine) exactly why the artist chose to focus on them, and why I found it chucklesome.

It's not sexual. They are comical and cartoony. They are non threatening and amusing.

If this is the worst that a child is going to happen upon when browsing the net, you're living a blessed existence.

Honestly the pearl clutching is making me actually quite fond of this design. Shame I don't need a new watch.

I wouldn't wear it - doesn't really work in a professional client-facing role. But I wouldn't be concerned/upset by it, just looks a bit cheap and immature.
