conflict us starting up again. I cannot bear another round of children being killed indiscriminately. The super powers would have you believe that it is all oh so very complicated. its not though is it. It is so bloody unfair how those children will keep dying if the status quo is maintained. Something needs to change.

It's not too complicated. Displaced Jews took land that people were living on already, because they wanted that small piece, even though they had been offered other choices. We let them, and now pretend it's all fine and they should be there. Meanwhile the people who should live on the land are herded into a tiny space, and the people who took their land fire rockets at them and kill their children. Hands up anyone who wouldn't fight back.

More land than was given (not by Palestians) to displaced Jewish people has since been taken, quite a lot more.

It is not hard to see why the conflict has occurred, Palestians have been ghettoised and had their land stolen from them.

Israel wants to protect its people, Palestine wants that too. It also wants some land back, understandably. I am unsure how this issue can ever be resolved, sadly.

It is complicated but let's just keep harking back to 60 odd years ago and how unfair it all was - because that is going to help. And yes if I was Palestinian I would probably hate and fight back. But still they are the ones who are and will continue to suffer way beyond what the Israelis will suffer. So they play a part in forging a better future. By all means let the international community put pressure on the Israelis and hope that Bibi gets kicked out on his arse and the Palestinians vote out Hamas.

Posted here because there is more tradfic. People are still dying in Gaza and in Israel. The IDF killed a mother and her 2year old daughter in yet another pin pointed operation.

If I was Palestinian, I'd just try to get the hell out of there to be honest. Problem is other other Arab countries don't want want them and very powerful forces in the West are trying to demonise them there (well Muslims as a whole, not just Palestinians) so they get chucked out/waged war upon there too. So where do they go? Palestinians don't have their hands clean either. Not by a long shot. It's all about war on the poor and keeping us all fighting each other so we don't notice who's making off with the loot.

Mimi - I've said before that the international community should get together and offer sanctuary to any Palestinains that want to leave (especially those with children). Like other refugees - take them in and let those who want to start again somewhere else have that chance. I wonder how many would choose to leave.

Oh I don't care...I know how these threads go..always the bloody same. Am so sick of it. If I was a Palestinian, too fucking right I would be burning raging blazing with hatred in my heart.
