The break for the news in the middle almost caused my DCs to have a meltdown. They are glued to it, I'm on MN - result.

Yanbu. I have only seen it in German (can remember v little of my O level German) and it certainly didn't inspire me to watch it again in English.

I have never ever understood why people rave about it. It's just odd.

(yes, and boring) (and I love a Christmas movie, a flake of snow here, a reindeer and a home-for-the-holidays-theme there, I can watch the lot....but not PE)

We have a family tradition of going to the pictures on Christmas eve.
Of all the diabolical children's films I have sat through wishing for a torch and a good book, Polar Express stands above, or should I say below the rest.
It is now our family yardstick of the worst film we have ever seen.
