So as much stuff for free that you can get in your trolley in 5 minutes say. What would you buy?
I have just been browsing John Lewis so that would be a good shout. So much lovely stuff. I would head for The Home section-bedding/kitchen etc.
But equally I would love Home Bargains/B&M/Dunelm. <fickle>

I guess JL would be best, I was going to say Waitrose!

Sparklingbrook Wed 23-Oct-19 08:48:01

I wouldn’t know where to head first in Waitrose. grin

I think I'd do Sainsburys because I really rate their home wares and clothing lines for basics.

I went to a huge Sainsbury’s and spent so long looking at all the non food stuff it was ages until I started on my food list.

I really like Tiger but they don’t design their shops to get a trolley around. Plus I could guarantee my trolley would have nothing of any practical use in at the end. hmm

A craft warehouse!

Sparklingbrook Wed 23-Oct-19 09:00:16

Oh yes Lakeland-that would be good.

There wouldn’t be much of a ‘dash’ involved in a jewellers. You would get a lot in your trolley though.

B&m blush

WomensRightsAreContraversial Wed 23-Oct-19 09:04:54

Portmerion! I don't know if they have a 'real' shop but their factory seconds are amazing, I'd do a (careful!!!) Trolley dash around there any day!

OytheBumbler Wed 23-Oct-19 09:06:53

JL is too big if you only have 5 minutes. You'd never get around the whole store in time.

It's a good question though.

jay55 Wed 23-Oct-19 09:07:33

Fortnum and mason, though the nice carpet might slow down the trolley.

Sparklingbrook Wed 23-Oct-19 09:08:30

That’s true Oy you could only really pick one department or floor. No time for the lift. grin

GraceQuirrell Wed 23-Oct-19 09:13:01

Costco and I'd grab one of their big flat trolleys and head for the electrical and household sections.

Anthropology for me, please.

sewinginscotland Wed 23-Oct-19 09:28:47

Amazon? I feel like I could fill an awesome basket in 5 minutes especially if I set up a wish list in advance.

UpToonGirl Wed 23-Oct-19 09:35:15

Haha, I remember having this conversation with myself back in the days of supermarket sweep!

Same as pp - Costco so many christmas items I want!

The person that said Poundland... really???

You can do that right now if you want, you'd probably only spend £50 grin
