Yes. Why are all these people with mostly Italian names speaking Spanish, a European language, in South America?

And why are almost all (if not all) the players white? Compare them to any of the other South American teams, except maybe Uruguay. Argentina is the white colonial settler colony par excellence.

Nothing new with the Malvinas. The Argentines generally believe the islands are theirs. Nothing you could do to change that opinion. Most Argentines are embarrassed by what happened in the 80s but still believe that the islands belong to them! It was poor sportsmanship and many will be upset by it - they may be representing their nation but it's not representative behaviour

I'm not your 'pet'. For someone who clearly knows very little about either football or geopolitics, patronising others is not a good look. The idea of Argentina, of all countries, as taking a principled stand admired throughout the world is hilarious.

But Harry Kane might have retired too. We had some really strong players and I was furious with the way the Argentinian players were so aggressive and deliberately attacking England players physically. Why did not one get a red card for it?
