Parmesab crusted lamb chops, pasta salad, potato salad. Bit of a mash up, got July 4th leftovers!

My first honeymoon was in Derbyshire and it was beautiful. I lived in Ireland at that time.

Second marriage honeymoon was spent in Lyme Regis and it was beautiful. Was working and living in London.

I love living in England.

Fairly confident! They are playing some of their best football, home crowd but I don't underestimate England, they are fav on paper for a reason.

It shows how far Brazil have fallen from their glory days when it's not really a shock for them to be knocked out by little Norway. Yes, I know they have Haaland but still. I'm old enough to remember when that would have been a huge upset but now it's kind of 'meh'. Certainly they didn't deserve to win tonight. Totally passionless, unlike Norway who were so happy to be there.

Same with Germany. Not that long ago that Gary Lineker used to say 'Football is a game of two halves and then Germany win'. Now the thugs of Paraguay knock them out on penalties.

I’m here! Me and my friend have both just woken I up but in time for the build up. It would have to be one of the most humid days and nights in London so I had no trouble falling asleep. Apart from

a gin and tonic earlier we haven’t succumbed to much booze yet.

Doesn’t it just?! I hope the England team know how many people are ruining a night’s sleep for this one.

That’s why I’ve got vodka and red bull. Plus trifle and mini crunchie bars.

The argies are lucky I still eat Argentinian steak! Even Maradona years later admitted it was hand ball but at the time it wasn’t seen or not properly, no VAR and there was no way he was going to admit it was hand ball. Still at least the argies still seethe before an England game that we still have the Falkland Islands.
