I have really enjoyed this World Cup. I mean not the quality of the Scottish football, but all the fans and the flags and the late night drinks and snacks and hanging out with my adult children and feeling real pride about how the rest of the world feel about our wee country and the Tartan Army.

However I don’t think we should qualify. We really don’t deserve to.

Agreed. Looks 95% likely that’s us out and we don’t deserve to qualify now. Still it was great aside from the football 🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👌 and good luck to the remaining Teams (all of them 🥰). It would be good if powers that be now reflect. Investment now in our DC could pay dividends in years to come. Not enough opportunities for young girls and boys to be taught by best coaches or to have all weather facilities so it’s daily practice. Other small nations do this so why not us?

They were in a tough group to start off with.

The best way of getting out of that group was a strategy. Instead they actually tried to play and came up short.

Their only hope was to thrash Haiti and implement a good low block vs. Brazil and Morroco (see Ghana). That should have been in place from time zero, but it seemed like they never figured it out.

A difficult group though. And they have got through to the last two majors. That should be something they can build upon. Maybe next time.

It was a bit of a shame seeing the team on the news going through Glasgow Airport with only the press there. It was a bit off Steve Clarke didn't even travel back with them.
They were in a really difficult group but mistakes were made.
