Wfh jobs where can I find one?

I don't care about pay or hours or what it is but I am currently in a low paid wfh job. The wfh bit means I can continue working and doing school runs/help with homework/generally be with my dc.

I absolutely hate the job though. Struggling to find a completely remote job and everytime I put 'remote' as a filter it turns out its hybrid not remote. Very annoying.

I totally get where you're coming from, and it's frustrating when you're looking for a remote job but keep getting hybrid ones instead. I was in a similar boat not too long ago. I'm new here on this forum, so hi everyone! Anyway, back to your question, have you tried checking out African Recruitment Forms? They have a recruitment portal that might have some remote job listings. It's tough when you're juggling work and family, but finding a job that suits your needs is worth it. Hang in there, and I hope you find the perfect remote gig soon!

No idea.

Randomly a wfh job may appear on Indeed or the right Facebook page but ask yourself why no dedicated wfh job board.

A sales employer (2023) winced when I said my last wfh job involved ‘own equipment’ so if you want to get into that niche and have bun fights galore to be seen and heard then do so.

Quite a lot of companies are now going back to hybrid or in office roles so even if you got one now, unless you were hired as a contractual home worker, it could well change in future.

PestoandPeas · 26/09/2023 00:19

@Coraline353 please PM me too 😍

Mountainsnowdrop · 26/09/2023 00:24

Please and thank you, @Coraline353

Local Government or some Civil Service jobs (if you can play their recruitment game well enough!) are possibles. CS offers home-working contracts. You would likely be able to plan the school runs into your working day, but the more interesting roles would require commitment. No half-arsed job with one eye on the DC's homework. The flexibility is great though.

Things have changed somewhat as the market has changed. People losing jobs unfortunately. Sorry I can't help but good luck finding something.
