Following another post, I thought it might be a good idea if we all put down our jobs/skills, in case we can help each other out by passing any business to each other!

So far we have:

JANSELL: Publications Designer: newsletters, leaflets, brochures, invitations companies or individuals)

TIGERMOTH: events management and copywriting

MORNINGPAPER (me!): Website design / website consultancy (websites from around £200 per site - billy bargain)

Me - Lab Tech. Ability to strip and repair certain pieces of analytical equipment. Also have been manufacturing tech, did a bit of pipefitting and can drive anything up to a 2.5 tonne diesel forflift truck. I'm absolutely no use to anyone.

DH - Ironmonger, estimator, scheduler and also locksmith. Any advice needed on locks or such things, he's your bloke.

Me - well I'm pretty useless at almost everything, but I have good Admin skills

My dh - well he's brill at everything, he's a plumber, Kitchen/bathroom fitter, tiler, builder etc etc etc.. and very handy to know. So if anyone wants any work doing let me know, he can work either in the Midlands or Dartford way (we live in Staffs, his family live in Kent so able to stay there)

Childminder who can offer overnight and weekend care and a home babysitting service for holiday makers. So if you are on holiday down my way and need childcare come on over for a cuppa and a look around.
Also emergency first aid qualified to occupational standard.

Ponygirl: SAHM now but used to be (and may have to be again) a freelance editor and proofreader. I used to specialise in legal, but would like to do more general subjects if I go back.

Ponygirl's dh: historian and writer.

Alicatsg - PR guru to the stars. Not quite, PR/comms director for technology and corp comms companies. Don't all rush at once.

DH - UberDad and open source coder. The latter means he speaks geek fluently should you need translations.

Uwila = Mechanical Engineer / Information manager in the Offshore Oil and Gas construction industry. Mech Eng by education, but haven't done it for about 6 years now, so rather rusty on the subject. Now work on the IT side of things for the same company. WE build offshore platforms for the major Oil companies (i.e. British Petroleum, Agip, etc.)

Prefer to stay on the IT/management side of things. I like the oil industry.
