Following another post, I thought it might be a good idea if we all put down our jobs/skills, in case we can help each other out by passing any business to each other!

So far we have:

JANSELL: Publications Designer: newsletters, leaflets, brochures, invitations companies or individuals)

TIGERMOTH: events management and copywriting

MORNINGPAPER (me!): Website design / website consultancy (websites from around £200 per site - billy bargain)

Anyone else?!

me - SAHM by day, IKEA 'co-worker' by night..

DH - Accessable Information Officer for council (arranges translations and interpreters, inc BSL and brailling) Can put you in touch with very good freelance interpreters across the SE. Very up on Disablilty Act and compliances etc

Me ; IT project management about to move out to 'Work At Home' doing party plan books and toys when I'm made redundant!

DH :IT programmer - (old style so not looking too good for the future!)

Me = Escort for children (I know that sounds bad but it's not!)

DH = The same as me and a care worker for autistic and SN children.

Was a physics teacher (didn't work out as I am terrified of 14year olds en masse), then a Customer Services Manager, now do the accounts for our business when DS is watching CBeebies.

DH does Strategic Management Consultancy which not even he can explain to anyone but it pays the bills.

i don't think any of these are dull

acnebride: about to be a pt medical secretary, starting Tuesday. i've done various jobs across the NHS, all adminny. no transferable skills whatsoever, except typing which I am a whiz at. Otherwise a very doting but pt mum - Thank God For My (Shared) Nanny.

acnegroom; is a patent agent. if you have a brilliant invention you would like to protect, he would love to hear from you!

Me too Acnebride! I was one for 20 years, and I'm still in the NHS. Fantastic job, wouldn't ever do anything else. Good luck for Tues - what dept are you in?

nobody has added to this for a while so thought i would add to thread.
im training as a doula (labour companion) and a childbirth educater.iam also an aromatherapist and about to purchase a birthing pool to hire out. dh is a garden designer and about to start an arcitehture degree so will be skint for ages.

I am run a part-time language school including La Jolie Ronde French and am a financial adviser for the rest of the time. Quite a combination. I also do some writing and website work.

My DH is an accountant.

we are publicans. But for 10 years all I did was help in the kitchen (mostly washing up). DH is not good at customer service - and now I've discovered I love that role!

Me: RE student so not much now, BUT have worked (real and voluntarily) as an Organiser for Homestart, support person for a Pre-eclampsia charity, information line person for a hyperemesis charity and fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Relief. Macmillan and Homestart were the paid ones there. Also admissions at further ed college.

DH: makes and builds light control units, those scary devices that tell the lights in discos, theatres,shop and Chrsitmas displays what to do. Has just started own business. Works for a haulage company too, as a planner.

www.funkymamas.co.uk Organise and promote this event (it's also my social life every couple of months !)

www.manateevilla.com (overseas investment company)

Also do sports coaching (primary school PE lessons) netball & athletics on a contracted basis

Looking at this lot realise now why I never have any spare time and I'm always so knackered !!!!!!!

.....most importantly mum to DS (5) and DD (nearly 3) !

I do top secret intelligence work for MI5 (spying on the Russians, but I didn't tell you that ok?).

I also train parachutists on Mondays.

Every Friday I have to tone-up and workout for my demanding acrobatic performances for the circus.

And at the weekends I rescue elephants in India.

Not much to it really.

i always wanted to be a spy. really hoped to be "spotted" at university but it didn't happen. i had my code name ready (Willow WinWallow) and lots of practise in secret code busting.

so, if any of you spies want to recruit i am sure i would be an excellent candidate.....

me - committee administrator for one of the Royal Colleges. I co-ordinate the written papers for the membership examination - oh the power...not...
