Do Work have to provide me transport?

Hi everyone, I have a dissiplinary for imsubordination. The thing is it’s not at the place at work and at the head office 1/2 hr away. I don’t drive. I’ve told them and they’ve told me to catch the bus. Do work have to provide me transport to get to the dissiplinary?

Yes they do have to pay, I think you should refuse to go unless they pay up.

It's Head Office, not another branch, and presumably that is where the HR department are located who will be carrying out the disciplinary. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Actually scrub the drunk, this is a kid posting. A teenager. Whose mum has refused to help them because she agrees with the manager.

Well, this is the last time I leave my phone open. It wasn’t me posting but rather my friends step daughter who has, Indeed, been invited to a hearing for insubordination. I refused to assist as I know how difficult she is at work (I know members of a team who work on the same floor as her and have heard the arguments).

Thanks to the poster to tagged me as that’s how I realised I had ‘posted’ a thread. I have to say that some of the answers on this thread have made me laugh - particularly the P45 bus. There is a page open on my phone asking the route of the P45 bus 😂😂

Smeddum unfortunately she’s not. She genuinely believes that work should pay her transport. Her step mum refused to assist to came over to mine so I would assist. I have no idea why she thinks I would help her. I have, however, tried to tell her that she needs to get a grip and find her way there should she want to keep her job but it seems to be falling on deaf ears. She has left now —stormed out—

Haha my friend has had her fill of her today and she’s having a crap time so it’s easier for me to piss her off so she storms off and then I can have a proper natter without the fear of everything we discuss being discussed elsewhere.

Her spelling gives me shudders. She thinks that it’s fine and she doesn’t need it. Her spelling and grammar genuinely makes me sad.
