I don't care about any of you.

So I'm going to spend a load of time pretty much every day responding to each and every one of your comments

(except this one, obvs)

The mind boggles.

Well someone just did check your posting history and quelle surprise, you’re here a lot. I think you’ve got ‘exaggeration’ well and truly covered.

Actually you’re right, keep posting your nonsense. It helps shows trans ideology and it’s barmy men prioritising supporters for the ridiculousness it is. It’s your time to waste.

Yes, exactly. It makes no difference to me.

"All the time". Not true, is it?

Am I meant to be upset by your Mean Girl antics? I'd much rather be a Dr Upton than a racist Peggie. Most would.

Mean girl 😂

Oh dear.

Ereshkigalangcleg · Yesterday 22:50

alcovecupboards · Yesterday 22:49

Perhaps you're incapable of reading nuance. Though I do rather suspect a single entendre would fox you.

If you say so 😂

FlirtsWithRhinos · Yesterday 22:51

For avoidance of doubt, I would prefer to be neither sexist nor racist. One does not have to embrace Upton simply because one does not agree with everything Peggie has ever said.

PencilsInSpace · Yesterday 22:52

Of course it is. She's a vile bigot and has been shown as such. She has done nothing but harm sensible gender criticals in this country by becoming the face of a movement when she's been so openly racist and homophobic.

'sensible gender criticals' - weird phrasing Hmm

'the face of a movement' - oh I thought that was JKR, or was it Glinner? No, hang on, it's KJK isn't it? Sorry, I can't keep up 🙃

What the TRA fail to appreciate is that we don't give a shit about leaders or 'the face of a movement', we care about the rights of ordinary unperfect women and girls, ordinary unperfect LGB people and the safeguarding of ordinary unperfect children and vulnerable adults.

And we support and salute the efforts of all those unperfect people whenever they stand up for their rights because they are all of our rights and we know the cost of standing up FlowersFlowersFlowers

I don't believe that Sandie Peggie is a 'vile bigot' but even if she was, so what? Show me the exception that says designated 'vile bigots' have no rights under the Equality Act. Show me the exception that says 'vile bigots' have to accept sharing a changing room at work with men.

RCN are a shower of shite. Shame on them.

Why would I be in doubt? I support single sex spaces where appropriate. I don't support racist bigots. Hope this helps.

Do those you women you don't support because 'they are racist bigots' (in your view) retain the right to single sex spaces?

If no, why not? And what is your solution? A purity test?
If yes, what the hell is your point?

Fucking feels like it. I barely have enough time to post on the threads I like and do believe in, never mind the ones I don’t (but it wouldn’t occur to me to do that anyway).

And yet so many on here are incapable of criticising Peggie's vile racism. Have you asked yourself why? Even you can't bring yourself to do it apparently.

As I've already said - yes they do. None of that has anything to do with the fact that Sandie Peggie is a vile bigot. Even vile bigots are entitled to single sex spaces - but I wouldn't want her anywhere near me or my family.

You’d rather be a man who thinks biological sex is a nebulous dog whistle, won’t give women privacy in their own changing room and says he’s entitled to treat female patients who’ve asked for an actual woman. And yet apparently you’re “gender critical”. You do you hun.

murasaki · Yesterday 22:54

So Alcove, given you abhor racists, which is fine, I assume you were supporting Jennifer Melle?

Or did the rights of the paedophile patient who racially abused her trump her need to accurately sex him when sorting treatment for an issue that directly involved his biological sex?

Your first post on this thread

Good. Awful woman. Has no business being at the forefront of the movement.

This case wasn't about single sex spaces. Perhaps you're confused?

Well it wouldn't have happened if there hadn't been a case about single sex spaces, so it's adjacent at least.

If you really want to know, it's because I am an old lady who has worked with a lot of people of many backgrounds over the years, and I can imagine quite a few of them sharing that post that Peggie did, while also knowing those people in their working lives just got on with the job and treated everyone equally, and I have never heard any evidence that Peggie did not do this as well.

So while I think the jokes she shared are vile (and that is a word I try to avoid because it's become almost meaningless), I've seen far worse racsim in practice from people who would not be caught dead sharing the jokes, and I've seen far more acceptance and support in practice from people who take joy in saying things they know will shock.

So, in short, I think there is far too much glee being exhibited by people who want an excuse to condemn Peggie when they have never even bothered to look at whether people on their own side are doing or saying the same thing.

"when they have never even bothered to look at whether people on their own side are doing or saying the same thing."

And you think this is limited to trans supportive people? Because if so...

And please don't minimise Sandie's racism to just jokes - she openly admitted to using slurs about at least two other races/nationalities. Do you really believe someone like that stops their racism at just two?

I'm not confused.

You were immediately happy that a woman lost a case against her union for not supporting her re her rights to SSS simply because you didn't like her 'views'.

alcovecupboards · Yesterday 23:07

murasaki · Yesterday 23:02

It could have happened for any reason. Sandie was given the same treatment as anyone else would have received regardless of what her views are.

You are definitely confused. I'm quite content that the vile racist lost her cash grab against her union, and it was proved that it had nothing to do with her rights to single sex spaces, nor her views, and was simply because Sandie did not follow the rules.

Fully agree. It’s certainly not something I would ever share or think is funny but that kind of sick humour is really common on Facebook etc, especially after disasters like that one. Everyone will know people who’ve shared sick jokes about people they don’t have to engage with as individual humans. I find it sad, but it happens a lot.
