You are correct that it is not a criminal offence to use an opposite sex changing room or toilet, regardless of how you identify.

However, if you refuse to leave when asked there are various crimes for which you might be prosecuted.

Service providers are not obliged to provide single sex services, but may be found to have unlawfully discriminated if they don't. They must also comply with building regulations when they provide mixed sex services.

Absolutely agree that women need single sex spaces to ensure their dignity, privacy and safety. Well done Robin, your brain is starting to absorb the right words - now you just need to join them to (the Supreme Court's definition of) women.

Also makes you wonder what other laws those public bodies will break because they're not keen on them.

If services are not single sex they are mixed sex, so they would be using the same toilets as other men anyway.

You are going to need to post some evidence for both of these claims.
A few councils? Yes, they are on our radar.
A few trans-identified men? Yes, the ones who are the most misogynistic.

What about me? I have to degrade myself in the exact same way every time I use the disabled toilets. Why don’t I count?

Then they can use the universal toilets.

You really, really need to get to grips with the fact that the councils you are talking about are not providing services for women + trans women. They are just making everything mixed sex.

Well it “advertises” that I’m disabled in the exact same way that a trans woman using the men’s would be “advertising” their trans status.

well the law says I’m entitled to single sex spaces and it’s spectacularly vicious to tell a rape victim she can’t have single sex provision where allowed by law, wouldn’t you agree?

Things have already changed, because it has now been re-established, with wide spread and popular support ,that female only faciities and categories are for female people only, and for very good reasons.... also long established.

Male people and organisations who flout the rules are doing so knowingly and can expect to be held to account. It is not acceptable, and will not be tolerated, for men to use the spaces and services that have been set aside for the dignity and privacy of women and girls.

'Warriors' such as Joss Prior, who keeps posting images of himself in women's toilets, really only does so in a very few, select locations ( which I tend to recognise) and even then he makes sure that the facilties are not busy with women and girls. He'll soon grow tired of these pranks; and when there is an alternative facility provided he has absolutely no excuse.

A trans woman who doesn’t pass is going to be fine, but if someone passed it’s pretty obvious why that would be unsafe.

That would be a man problem though, it’s not for women to solve. The answer is for men to behave properly it’s not for women to accommodate.

Also. Why is it obvious? Are you saying men aren’t safe to be around? And the answer to that is to let men into female single sex spaces? What planet does that make sense on?
