What to call the wokerati

I realise this isn’t directly a FWR question, but I’m keen to hear opinions from reasonable people.
What is a sensible term to use to describe people we might term woke and that Americans call Liberal progressives?
People who believe in gender ideology, critical race theory, term anyone who disagrees with them fascists, term mainstream (imo) conservative opinions far right and who in the USA are currently trampling on Charlie Kirk memorials both physically and metaphorically.
It’s driving me crackers hearing these people described as liberal - when they’re authoritarian, progressives - when they promote regressive policies, kind - when they seem incapable of common decency.
Woke for me fits the bill - but it’s a difficult term that can be deflected.
Any ideas?

Not all wokeness is bad imo. And you just sound like an old fart if you say woke (it’s become a parody now) so I call it ‘playing gender-wang’.

I’ve found that the so called anti woke are arseholes.

So are the “woke” though, although I hate the term. I actually agree with them on more stuff than I don’t, but I can’t stand the way they act like bullies if you dare to disagree with them on a single point.

Every time I hear the word progressive I am reminded of The Real IRA. Not because they're terrorists but because The Real IRA chose a name that made a claim, and every time they were spoken of (e.g. on the news) as The Real IRA the automatic thought that went through my head was 'but they're not, are they? If they were they wouldn't have to keep saying so'.

These days I see the Corbyn/Sultana party in the same light, calling it the Your Party as a supposed interim name but in reality it's quite clever, insinuating subconsciously that Your Party is the party for you, in the same way The Real IRA inferred that they were genuine and The IRA had somehow fallen by the wayside. Likewise naming your party Reform, because every political party uses the word reform.

I think progressive is, like The Real IRA, a total misnomer. Those who claim to be so, very rarely are; and as such I am most reluctant to use that word for people who are the total opposite.

So I'd go with Authoritarian Regressive.

No, they're absolutely fine with bullying if you don't agree with them, even on a single point. They behave like the fascists they accuse other people of being.

So perhaps don't try to have a catch-all term when only people who are trying to brainwash you try to create a word for "the kind of people who scare you"?

I should perhaps explain my previous post. Any term can be used to dismiss the opinions of someone you see as belonging to a group you disapprove of. I was not trying to suggest that American Christian Conservatism is the equivalent of "woke", but that it was used to dismiss someone and his opinions. It is easy to dismiss ideas without really understanding them, and that is the big problem with cultural divisions in our societies.

I use the term Blue MAGA (for the ones in the USA).

I do think that gets across how they are just as willing as Red MAGA to refuse to think critically, refuse to believe the evidence of their eyes, and wholeheartedly endorse cult-like beliefs that I think they secretly don't actually believe, but feel like they need to say they do because that's the political tribe they identify with.
