GLP - oops, we did it again.

Remember the GLP claims about the EHRC consultation being crooked and trans responses were being filtered out by AI?

Seems like the EHRC threatened the GLP with legal action and Angry Dad has had to back down.

And still the grift goes on - £455k so far.

GLP - oops, we did it again.

That statement is still saying the consultation was flawed. If he was given a cease and desist, would that really count as resisting or is he still libelling them?

TheUnusuallyQuerulentMxLauraBrown · 16/08/2025 16:06

Sit down, GLP, you are making idiots of yourselves (again).

If they try that they'll be thrown out of crt because
A, the claim that they brought has nothing to do with it
B, the high crt can't overrule the SC
C, you cant sue just because you dont like the law you have to petition parliament to change the law

Angry Dad has confirmed that the November hearing would then be about the issued guidance and not the interim update.

GLP - oops, we did it again.

I really should have compiled a list of quotes from Jolyon Maugham and Robin Moira White. They are doing my campaigning for me on toilets.

They must have time and money to burn.

Firstly GLP need to look up the meaning of "deviant behaviour". Secondly if they are going to complain to the Charity Commissioners then claiming "Sex Matters describing women who are trans using women's spaces as 'deviants'." when they say nothing of the sort is going to make them look very stupid.

The group further stated: "Telling staff supervising single-sex spaces that they must second-guess themselves when they become aware of a man engaging in the deviant behaviour of accessing a female-only space, or risk breaching data-protection law, will lead to unwanted conduct related to the protected characteristic of sex that is likely to meet the definition of harassment in the Equality Act. It 'violates a person’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment'."

Now, Joylon Maugham KC, founder and director of the Good Law Project, has said a complaint will be lodged with the Charity Commission over the statement.

In a post on Bluesky, Maugham wrote: "We're complaining to the Charity Commission about Sex Matters describing women who are trans using women's spaces as 'deviants'.

Jolyon Maugham KC (@jolyon.goodlawproject.org)

We're complaining to the Charity Commission about Sex Matters describing women who are trans using women's spaces as "deviants". The language is unacceptable (and the statement is wrong in law). We're looking for other examples of it (staff or Trustee...

This incredible thank you

As pp said, i kind of hope this is going to be argued in a court because GLP will need to spell out that they know “trans women” are men, and they know full well they don’t have access to women’s spaces as they’ve argued on the basis they do and suffered a humiliating loss.
