GLP - oops, we did it again.

Remember the GLP claims about the EHRC consultation being crooked and trans responses were being filtered out by AI?

Seems like the EHRC threatened the GLP with legal action and Angry Dad has had to back down.

And still the grift goes on - £455k so far.

GLP - oops, we did it again.

@PronounssheRa, I suspect it’s because they genuinely think GLP is going to save them from the State that will otherwise kill them all via a trans genocide.

Quite why they think this is beyond me. The only violence I’ve ever seen is BY TRAs rather than TO them.

No AI used!

No AI used!

Not yet. But now we take the statement and the analysis, and feed it into our LLM of choice so it starts to "learn" how to dissemble corpspeak.😀

.

SternJoyousBeev2 · 15/08/2025 15:52

If he thought he had the slightest chance of winning in court against the EHRC he would be there with bells on. His whole grift is about distraction and sideshows.

RedToothBrush · 15/08/2025 16:05

Zomg the injustice!

They truthfully said that the EHRC were deliberately filtering out trans responses to the consultation because they were biased and had ALREADY decided they were going to misrepresent the law and follow the SC this not listening to the many traumatised transwomen who have been banned from public spaces because they can no longer pee legally.

This is a travesty that they were forced by the bullying GCs at the EHRC to take down the message under the threat of legal action.

Now despite being kind good hearted lawyers, there's just no money to spend to defend this. It would take away from all the really important cases if they decided to fight this too.

Honest gov.

In no way was it under indefensible bullshit which would show up how much this is a grift if they took it to court. It was in no way an effort to wind up trans extremists, spread misinformation deliberately and try and encourage others to part with their cash in a dodgy fashion.

Really truly.

Please believe Jolyon and his Mrs (who it definitely wasn't in the Guardian because she didn't use the name Maugham in a deliberate attempt to hide who her infamous husband was when she was telling them about the sheer horror of being wrongly sexed).

I mean how on earth could you suggest they are lying. Won't someone think of the children?

Namely the Maugham offspring.

There was a time when my grasp on reality was similar to that of GLP. In my defence, I was taking 240mg of codeine a day.

IwantToRetire · 15/08/2025 16:57

Is there a running total of GLP threatened actions and actual actions, number of wins, money involved.

Or would that just reveal it is nothing more than a vanity project for a man whose ego transparently exceeds his intelligence?

PestoHoliday · 15/08/2025 17:01

That statement and the Sturgeon autobiography have the same difficulty with reality

FranticFrankie · 15/08/2025 17:19

potpourree · 15/08/2025 17:25

Bless this little guy - he's hilarious!
Actually - can anyone please confirm this isn't a parody, because it sounds exactly like the sort of thing he'd say - while also being the funniest way it could be said!

Igmum · 15/08/2025 17:48

But but he won really

(Also posting that probably means he can now charge up some lawyer-ly fees to those donations, after all, the kimonos aren’t going to buy themselves).

PronounssheRa · 15/08/2025 15:10

The biggest shock in all this is why the fuck people are still giving them money. Might as well just go into the garden and set fire to a bunch of 💷 for all the good they are doing.

Maybe it will turn out to be a secret art project, like when the KLF burnt a million pounds on Jura.

Indeed there is.

And so the grift goes on. Except, what are they all donating for? The Good Laugh Project threatened to sue the EHRC and in turn have been met with the threat of being sued themselves. There is no reference to any further legal action.

It's just nebulous references to "the fight to defend trans rights" and "holding the commission to account".

So what EXACTLY is that cool half-a-mil going to be spent on? Kimonos?

Anyone donating at this point is a fucking idiot. I don’t feel sorry for them, the grift is so obvious

Ereshkigalangcleg · 15/08/2025 18:04

Oh brilliant. Have any of these people
actually got a Law degree?
Their behaviour seems very odd.

Hmm so if ive translated that statement correctly what the glp are saying is sorry not sorry, we have been forced to take down our liable ridden statement (even though we identify it as a factual statement) because some big meanie's said they'd sue us if we didn't and we'd lose in a way that we cant claim was a win so we've taken it down under protest.
I somehow doubt that that statement will be enough to save them

Ooh, that would be juicy!

SinnerBoy · 16/08/2025 15:40

Lanyardocracy is effing brilliant!

pontefractals · 16/08/2025 15:50

I've posted this else-thread, too, but he's making dodgy claims about John Boyle, too, and being pulled up for it:
