As I stated before many times, the current trans panic doesn't just hurt trans people, it disproportionately hurts cis-gender women. More and more the 'gender critical' movement aligns itself with the anti-gender movement and patriarchy.

The ‘patriarchy’ = male people who won’t agree that they should all now stay out knowing that it may likely cause female people distress.

Using an example from the US where a significant portion of MAGA loving population is engaging in Trump inspired madness and hyperbole doesn’t tell us anything. Other than the US is not the best place to live in this day and time.

And a reminder that women critical of gender are the ones strongly opposed to the patriarchy as patriarchal imposed norms predominantly harm women. Not to mention how gender ideology is not only a key element of the patriarchy, but transgenderism goes even further.

In addition to imposing restrictive gender norms on both men and women, it has led to many young people physically damaging and destroying their bodies and reproductive organs in trying to manifest those gendered norms.

There is no trans panic. There are no ‘cis’ women. There isn’t a gender critical movement. Women just don’t want men in their single sex spaces. Ends.

This. It really is very simple. Differentiation is based on biological sex. People can choose how they dress, what name they have, what hobbies they do etc.

Total BS!

Keeptoiletssafe · 15/08/2025 10:37

@BeeSourianteAgain unfortunately the thing that has always happened, and will always happen, and will happen today is that toilets will be misused.

If you research, or had experience of maintaining toilets you will realise that. It is highly likely that this upsetting incident was because there had been prior experience of something happening to girls/women/boys in the toilets.

You will realise lots of horrible things happen to people in toilets everyday and this unfortunately isn’t the worst by far. Public toilet provision in this country has been decimated because of their misuse.

If you have any verifiable British examples I would like them. I am not sure you’ll come back to this thread though.

Men cannot be women. Women's spaces are for women only for our safety and privacy. 98% of people convicted of sexual offences are male. Men who identify as women are the same risk (possibly greater) risk of sexually offending as other men. Women say no. Perhaps you could respect that.

What’s a cis-gender woman?

A woman.
They have to differentiate to make it sound like there are different types of women, so they use "cis"

Considering I thought that this was about that ‘other’ thing that never happens, you know where whenever a male person gets access to a female single sex space and the female comes to harm, here is the link to the relevant thread.

I must admit that updating that thread was distressingly frequent. But I think it is important to keep it updated.

Maybe BeeS Again didn’t mean to draw so much attention to the real things that supposedly never happens that these activists really don’t want discussed. Particularly when those incidents are exactly why no male people should ever be in female single sex spaces.

It will never happen - resource thread. | Mumsnet

I'm hoping Rowantrees will be a contributor on here! This is basically a thread to keep together stories of all the things that we have been told will...

Great minds think alike, @Helleofabore 😊

Helleofabore · 15/08/2025 16:49

I think we should post it as often as we can on this thread. There are still new eyes on this thread.

Helleofabore · 15/08/2025 22:20

Here is another one for @BeeSourianteAgain .

Another reason why there can never be a valid reason for any male above 8 years old to access a female single sex space. But it is one of the inconvenient valid reasons, of course. The ones activists think female will be distracted from with posts such as the opening post on BeeS’s thread.

The ones that activists think they can emotionally manipulate us to be distracted from.

It happened in the USA. For those who don’t want to click a YouTube link, here is an NBC link

www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna224562

”Gerika Mudra, 18, went to dinner in April with a friend in Owatonna, about an hour south of Minneapolis. When she went to the restroom, a server followed her inside and banged on the stall door while saying: “This is a women’s restroom. The man needs to get out of here,” according to Gender Justice, a Minnesota gender-equality organization that filed the charge on Mudra’s behalf.“

The Buffalo Wild Wings staff member likely didn’t handle it well initially. Particularly as this could have been a child still. The article goes on to say.

”Mudra said she felt she had to prove to the server that she is a woman, so she unzipped her hoodie to show she has breasts. The server didn’t say anything in response but left the restroom, Mudra said.

I would suggest that the server did not want this person to be showing body parts, but some kind of ID.

All this ludicrous hyperbolic ‘genital inspection’ discussion has likely influenced young people to think when asked that they should do this. That is where the overly dramatic and catastrophised sound bite being repeated over and over gets society.

Certainly, the staff at that outlet need training on appropriate ways to deal with this.

Throughout history when female people have had sex segregated toilets, we have had some female people being asked if they were in the correct toilet for them. I have been. And others have been. It rarely happened though.

But it did happen, and to some it happened more than once. When we answered questions, our voices gave assurance when needed and I don’t believe there were more than a few very rare instances where we were removed from the single sex space.

However, imagine if no male person ever sought to access any female single sex space. That male people all respected the needs of female single sex provisions and simply used or found another alternative.

Tell us BeeS Again. What is it exactly that you think this incident proves?

Because to me, it proves that a movement that supports male people using female single sex spaces and using overly dramatic phrases such as ‘genital inspections’ has had a significant negative impact on female people. The ‘patriarchy’ = male people who won’t agree that they should all now stay out knowing that it may likely cause female people distress.

I do not think this incident shows quite what you think it does. So crack on posting them. The collection of incidents of the significant negative impacts on female people of your own demands needs to be done and I thank you for publicising it widely.

Presumably "Mundra" was wearing something under the hoodie?
It would be very strange not to.

Also from the threads on this, this is (from what I can see) the second reported incident, the first one had many many reports in different media.
