No it’s Liz that has a wife. I’m referring to Natalie who said she’s queer and went to pride with her straight husband.

I'm a lesbian and I'm so fucking tired and angry with all these straight women who call themselves queer and lesbian because occasionally they fantasise about having sex with a woman.

Liz seems a little confused.

First she says she brought people with DSDs into the discussion because someone said there were only two sexes, "which was incorrect."

Then in a later comment she says she's not saying they're a third sex.

So why use the existence of people with DSDs to argue there are more than two sexes if she knows they aren't a third sex?

Maybe it’s a fourth sex without a third one? 🤪

Loved James' comment along the lines of "how are women expected to distinguish between a man pretending to be a woman and a man pretending to pretend to be a woman?"

Based on what I've seen of women who self-describe as queer, I think the current definition is "I've been in a monogamous heterosexual relationship for the past 20 years, but hypothetically, I wouldn't kick Sydney Sweeney out of bed."

Probably fair to say Liz wasn't expecting that reaction.

I like charity shops and Malvern has (or had until recently) some wonderful ones of the old fashioned sort, none of this arrange the clothes by colour and weed out the totally unsaleable items - just hang the contents of great-aunt’s wardrobe on a rail, chuck the shoes in a basket and the old 33 rpm records in a box, pile up the books in a corner, festoon with cobwebs and Bob’s your (great) uncle.
Lots of these little places go big on Pride. I can think of a couple of small Welsh towns where it’s the biggest draw of the year. Last year I went to one that was combined Pride and a vintage car rally, weird.

I think Liz was expecting rainbows and sparkles and lots of congratulatory back-patting but got a big reality check instead

The have you spoke to any trans people to get the other side of always an odd question in the face of people that are so well informed.

Why? Other than to listen to men complain that they can't get things all their own way as they really are the most vulnerable and impressed of all. It's not going to be a convincing argument.
