It's a fair question whether Mumsnet would be caught. The wording is very "nebulous".

Reading that Reddit thread I wonder how many of them ever venture beyond lurking in FWR to see what else Mumsnet holds. Maybe a bit too "actual woman" for them...I can't say I've ever noticed any of our usual guests on AIBU or chat (or, god forbid, TTC).

Has Justine 'teamed up' with KF? Surely that is what it would take for an official MN/Kiwi team up? A poster (or several posters) reading/using both sites is not an official 'team up'.

And OP, I just ignore Reddit. It's a bit too arm flailingly, tin hattian, conspiracy theory for me. There was a recent post on Reddit about the Peggie case which was so off the wall that even the fellow Redditors were a bit 'ooh, reel it in a bit mate, you're making us look bad'.

Tbh the responses are all quite reasonable.

Oh yeah Reddit users are already livid about the laws being brought in about choking and coming up with shit about human rights and all sorts and how "you won't believe how many women beg me for it".

The UK news threads are a curious mix of woke Bros on that and ukip frothers seething about asylum seekers

Tbf I have the general impression that reddit is full of sweaty incels in their mid thirties. If I think about it, I’m sure that’s not fair and some redditors are perfectly nice people even though they use a site which is notorious for being a cesspit of misogynist bigotry and gynaephobic hate.

Reddit threads on trans issues are full of why men's loos are not safe for transwomen, which is why they think it's correct to let them use women's - cos it's only women and we don't matter compared to their precious little muddled up blokes. It's the usual bloke problem - blame women and let women put up with it. Fuck off. It's a male problem. We're not having it.

It's clearly 'a thing' at the moment on Reddit and elsewhere to go on and on about KF to women, most of whom have never been on Kiwifarms (see my previous disclaimer).

Do they take turns to pop over here? Then go back later saying they were horrible, just like my mum when I got into trouble because I was a very naughty boy.

I wander if they are brave enough to tell their mums what they get up to hiding behind their keyboards and kill a terf placards? ‘Guess what mum I pushed a woman over in a March today and spat in her face, I showed her that I am a man’. Or ‘mum women are really stupid because they don’t just accept what a man tells them’. Doubt it very much.
