You're conflating two things - online criticism and offline abuse/harassment at events - but then given the amount of force-teaming that goes on with the TRA crowd I don't suppose I should be surprised.

No. It may surprise you @Christinapple but some people are perfectly content to let other people have events without feeling the need to disrupt them and cause harassing other attendees. This may be a new concept to you, but trust me, it’s a thing. You may try it sometime?

My daughter's at uni (not this one) and it's all pretty normal... Students Union had face painting etc for St Patrick's Day and no doubt other things too.

All seems harmless.
