Any "younger" (sub 30) women here?

Title says it all. I feel pretty alone online and offline, seems like everyone my age is part of the cult. Even being accused of being a TERF gets you blacklisted from everything.

Me! I'm 21 and feel the same mostly. My husband has similar views to me at least though.

This thread has a few younger TERFy women:

My children are 22, 21 and 15. They don’t believe in the trans cult, and this is a common feeling amongst their peers, including at the universities my eldest two attended. So the whole movement is dying, and I’m sure you’ll see that reflected in your peer groups soon.

I think the problem is that those who believe in it are in the
minority but are very vocal. Whereas, those who think it is ridiculous, and this is most people, are frightened to speak up. This will change though as time goes on. We’re already seeing it.

Remember that there are loads of people in their 30s and 40s who have publicly committed themselves to genderism for many years, you'll find them in publishing, the arts, education, the NHS, the third sector, etc, who won't be able to announce a change of mind until most people have rejected genderism.

I think with many in this cohort "stuck", younger people will lead the way.

I am an oldie but have recently joined the Women's Rights Network and have had the chance to meet like-minded people in my area. They have a careful vetting process but they may be able to put you in touch with younger women in your area.

See here: https://www.womensrights.network/

The Women's Rights Network campaigns to retain the hard-won rights of women, to prevent the introduction of self-identification in the Gender Recognition Act, to stop the medicalisation of children who are encouraged to believe that it is possible to c...

The trans training gravy train in universities and business has shuddered to a halt.

The cohort that believed that training is not being replenished.

It's going to fizzle out.

nauticant · 18/06/2025 17:33

Part of the equation relates to the question beloved of trans activists: "Do you know any trans people?" Different cohorts can answer that question in different ways. Older women might say "yes", because they were acquainted with transsexuals. Young women might say "yes", because they were surrounded by unhinged genderqueer activists as they progressed through their education. People in between might have a fluffy view of The Most Oppressed and Marginalised™ being their fey and feminine trans-identifying mate or colleague or the well-known "trans kids" who were all over the media.

I'm 21 and on the whole I agree with people here. I have a small, close "gang" of friends who (otw!) agree with me. But I must admit our bigger link is thru the way we've been treated by boys & men.
(Not that I'm suggesting we've suffered any more than most girls/women our age!)

I do hope there are!

And thanks for posting.

Not just for you to feel less alone, but FWR needs a future and if it is only oldies how much longer does it have to run? Hmm

I’m sorry to say that I do not see this happening at my university. Far from it.

Edit: I totally confused you for another poster on that thread, I apologise wholeheartedly!

I am really sorry! I got you a bit confused with another poster and didn't read your posts properly in the advanced search.

Ignore me everyone!

feministmom4ever · 18/06/2025 20:58

I’m in my 30s and unfortunately many of my peers have also drunk the kool-aid.

JoandArcFeminist · 18/06/2025 22:05

I'm in my twenties and GOING NUTS there's noone else! We're far apart it seems, but you're not totally alone x

IwantToRetire · 19/06/2025 17:53

Is it okay if I suggest that those of you in this or a younger age group share the instances that make you angry, or worried about speaking out.

Through sharing experiences it might lead to finding some common idea of how to survive - if not more.

AndrogynousElf · 19/06/2025 17:54

ha, my first thought was yes! Then I remembered that I’m way older than 30.

RalphWiggumsCrayon · 19/06/2025 17:58

I’m mid-30s but I know tons of people in their 20s and a bunch of teens who think gender stuff is all bullshit, and I’m sure we’re not an unusual bunch.

The problem is so many people are not “out” with their GC beliefs so it can be hard to find your people sometimes.

IwantToRetire · 19/06/2025 18:08

Is it too obvious (or even a bit scary) to wear the suffragette colours.

Or maybe a FWR badge.

Hmm
