Pride for teens?

HiDD · 12/06/2025 14:13

DD(15) wants to go to Pride London.

AIBU to advise strongly against? My sense is it’s not a family-friendly event these days.

London Pride is of course full of fine, upstanding members of the community, like these grown men dressed as little girls/adult babies.

This is the BBC article's archive version:

https://archive.ph/7Nuun

For some reason, they've removed the picture of the men dressed as little girls/adult babies from the page. I wonder why they did that?

Same sex attraction is something that's quite easy for normies to grasp. I mean, we love men, or women, or sometimes both, and we can't really help it.

Extremely niche fetishes like the adult baby scene... not so much.

I wonder if there's any fetish that Pride doesn't currently embrace as part of "the community"?

PlanetJanette · 17/06/2025 22:19

TooSquaretobehip · 17/06/2025 19:37

That article does not say it is not linked to a pride event. I image-searched and read that thread before I posted the image here, just to make sure. So again, you're wrong.

Edited

So given you posted it in a thread about London Pride, can you prove that it is from London Pride?

No. You cannot. Because it is not.

And you've just admitted that you searched the image before you posted, and posted it anyway, despite knowing it was entirely irrelevant.

Will you be apologising for lying?

SionnachRuadh · 17/06/2025 22:20

@PlanetJanette Quite the chutzpah from someone who frequently shows up here to tell us how much lesbians are inclusive of cock owners.

The thread title says "Pride for teens?"

It doesn't state a location.

All of my posts were about pride in general.

Will you now apologise for lying?

ArabellaScott · 17/06/2025 22:24

The adult babies are definitely from London Pride, even though the BBC for some reason deleted the photo subsequently.

PlanetJanette · 17/06/2025 22:31

TooSquaretobehip · 17/06/2025 19:39

It is from A pride event. Who said it had to be from London Pride? You are desperately clutching a straws now, and embarrassing yourself. Your get out clause is that, 'well, but it's not from a LONDON Pride'... pathetic and lame. The issue is Pride parades in....general. Not London vs Zurich or Manchester or New York.

Edited

So firstly, of course it matters, because OP is asking specifically about London Pride.

Secondly, given you've already lied about that 15 year old (at least) photo of a naked man in front of kids being from a pride event, can you specify which pride event and when this image is from? I rather suspect you can't.

So you LIED.

The photo of the naked man was from a Pride event.

I didn't lie. YOU did.

So, I await you're (two) apologises please, for lying and misrepresenting me.

PlanetJanette · 17/06/2025 22:33

TooSquaretobehip · 17/06/2025 19:44

WHO GIVES A FUCK where it's from? It's pride, that's the point. You think it's a 'gotcha' to say 'well, but-but-but that was from GLASTO, not London, so doesn't count, ner-ner'! Really embarrassing for you that you think that's actually a point. "🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣"

You know that (a) Glasto isn't Pride and (b) it turned out not to even be from Glasto.

You're the one claiming those two pictures are from Pride. On you to prove that.

But you can't, can you?

PlanetJanette · 17/06/2025 22:35

dontcomeatme · 17/06/2025 21:40

I've been married to a woman for 10 years, we have 2 DC, and we NEVER attend pride. A friend invited me years ago and I seen far too many male arses and penises. I was mortified to see kids there!! I wouldn't let her OP.

Well, luckily we have literal video evidence of the entire pride parade.

Care to point out any of the arses or penises in that video?

TooSquaretobehip · 17/06/2025 22:35

A) So Glastonbury don't have Pride marches? Are you sure about that?
B) There is no proof it wasn't from Glastonbury. Or even a Pride march at Glastonbury.

IwantToRetire · 17/06/2025 21:31

There are also a surprising amount of puppy fetishists

I skimmed through some of the photo archives of last year's Pride events and was surprised to see a number of these!

And also large numbers of men with little more than thongs - yuk?

And of course the "drag" representation.

I think also that I dislike this idea that "gay people" have to be so relentlessly gay and make themselves objects of entainment for the onlookers. It just plays into a horrible cliche.

It had much more of an empact when it was Gay Liberation and men and women who are same sex attracted would turn up in the "work" wear to show that among nurses, the police, firefighters or whatever to show that they were just ordinary people.

Now its turned into this sort of implicit acceptance that everyone who is same sex attracted is constantly behaving as though they are part of some cheap cabaret.

Almost like the cant believe they will be accepted as being just ordinary and have to put on a good performance to be accepted.

And as we all know, this is really only how (some) gay men behave, and now it has become an accepted caricature.

Its so degrading, and why so many lesbians gave up on being part of "Pride".

You haven't actually watched the video or been to a pride parade, have you?

Do you think you might want to inform yourself before pontificating?

Repeating a lie doesn't make it true.

The photo of the naked man was not from a Pride event. That is just a straightforward lie.

And of course the bigots on here are lapping it up.

Hi @PlanetJanette

Would you like to tell us how real lesbians include cock in their dating pool?

Post PROOF 100% actual certified proof that it wasn't from a Pride event. You can't do it. You, lied.

The only bigots I see are those who are advocating for fetish at Pride.

Glastonbury is also a TOWN. Google it. I did.

Denying fetishists exist and attend Pride, despite people's testimony on this thread, and photos, is what is far right.

Well, this is all very edifying isn’t it? You swear blind the photo isn’t from a Pride event (presumably you were omnipresent at them all? or do you know where it was actually taken?) and others swear blind that it was taken at a Pride event. We are not going to prove it definitively one way or another on here unless the actual photographer pops up to say hello.

However, it seems to me that more than enough people have been to Pride in various cities and testify to having experienced displays of fetishism for there to be plenty of truth in this. It seems to be a bit daft of you to flat out deny this sort of thing ever happens against the evidence of people’s eyes.

TooSquaretobehip · 17/06/2025 22:53

Managed to get a friend to post this on their twitter account (I don't have one). I bet PlanetJanette will find a way to deny this is at a Pride event, too, and will try and tell us it was at a music festival or a gardening expo or something. 🙄

Dd went to our local one this year. She went with a friend group and one parent tagged along and stayed in the area. They had a great time.

im in the U.S. so I was a bit nervous because of our current political climate. The event organizers took security VERY seriously. Once I read about the how they were handling that I was happy for her to go.

I was really proud of her for attending her first pride. I warned her that it would not be completely family friendly and she knew what she was getting into. She wasn’t thrilled with that part, but its a place she could go without fear of harassment and she deserves that, especially right now.

I would let her go as long as there is a sensible friend group. I was very happy a healthy parent volunteered to chaperone. If one did not, I probably would have gone. I just liked the idea of a trusted adult being nearby in case they needed assistance.

So the standard of evidence now on this forum is that if I post a photo and claim it was at, say, a gender critical event, it's on you to prove me wrong, rather than me to prove my claim is correct?

Is that really the standard you want to accept?

As for 'personal accounts' - personal accounts from anonymous users on a forum notorious for its anti LGBT views, versus an actual literal end to end video of the full Pride parade.

And I haven't ever said there are no fetishes present at Pride. I have said that claims that this represents a significant proportion of Pride is absolute nonsense. As proven by the video.

@PlanetJanetteyou have the entire sunderland 2019 pride parade video at hand ? Wow. Must be a good watch. We didn't stay long it turned ugly fast, drunken brawls, people flashing, fighting and assaults.

IwantToRetire · 18/06/2025 01:17

PlanetJanette · 17/06/2025 22:37

Your absolutely right. I haven't watched the video and moreover Inever said i did.

The rest of what I said is my personal experience and those of my friends.

So you really need to calm down.

If your experience is you have never seen any of the type of male fetish some of us have referred to, that as all you need to say.

But what you cant do is tell me I haven't experienced what I have.

Although in doing this you have undermined your other comments as you seem to see any post as any opportunity to assert your truth even when they aren't relevant to the comment you have hijacked .
