Helen Webberley has a poll running on Twitter/X regarding how to deal with trans identified men in women's support. Suffice to say it's not going well for her. If you're on Twitter/X and not blocked by her, you might want to pop over and vote. (Although one must always bear in mind that engagement equals $$ on X - maybe it's Webberley's newest main income stream now the puberty blocker thing has gone pear shaped)

Imagine having the brains to be a doctor and have the opportunity to benefit society in a really meaningful way - and then end up selling puberty blockers and cross sex hormones with significant life changing impacts on vulnerable children and adults 😕

Some people become doctors not to heal or help, but for the status, authority and position of trust and try to make hideous changes from within.

Surely though, she will have to think about why then trans activist twitter was not able to rally up a counter action?

Or is it that Webberley, desperately attempting to build 'influencer' status, is not supported by trans activists as much as she hoped? ie. is there a couple of different dynamics happening here?

I expect she’ll say that all the decent people have moved to Bluesky and this is further evidence that X is only used by bigots.

Im curious about posts stating that she may just be wanting engagement for revenue reasons rather than ideological ones.

She presents as being so unhinged, it’s hard to know what is motivating her.

I just cannot believe a functioning adult who has passed professional exams can be as dim as her tweets make her out to be.

Outrage gets clicks, which drives up account visibility. It could just be that, or it could be a personality disorder. Quite probably both. Either way, engaging at all is probably feeding the problem.

From looking at her feed and the short videos she has been releasing she is invested in engagement at the moment. Either for her personal sphere of influence or her business’s.

…..and that is why I’m not following her or responding to her grift!

You think her tweets are bad... have you seen her interviews?!

I suspect PD, or high degree of narcissism at least. When she talks about the good work she does doling out hormones to kids, she comes across as grandiose IMO. She admits to not knowing what will happen to her patients, but justifies it because they all think she's wonderful. She's getting external validation from teenagers. It's really grim.

She’s just put out a video on LinkedIn where she deflects completely about thr results of her stupid poll! It’s all “goodness me, people have got very upset and called me names etc etc”

And then starts waffling on about “this very complex issue of sport” and that the only answer is to create catagories based on “ability” and criteria like height and foot size 🫠

Would love to see her debate with Dr Nicola or Sharon Davies - they would WIPE the floor with her
