Helen Webberley has a poll running on Twitter/X regarding how to deal with trans identified men in women's support. Suffice to say it's not going well for her. If you're on Twitter/X and not blocked by her, you might want to pop over and vote. (Although one must always bear in mind that engagement equals $$ on X - maybe it's Webberley's newest main income stream now the puberty blocker thing has gone pear shaped)

As someone who has made surveys and consultations as part of a job, I really object to this series of questions that a) doesn't offer a button to every possible option (even if it's 'other'). And b) may need to choose more then one of the buttons (eg both sex segregated and ability like in boxing).

Also none of the possible answers are what we have now. Many sports aren't (yet) fully sex segregated. And (even trans) players don't choose. A trans athlete may make a decision about entering female competition but the sports body decides under what conditions (e.g. testosterone/passport sex).

She only believes in one thing, and that's the bottom line of her bank account and she'll swing whichever way the wind blows to keep it.

Late last night the top votes were for single-sex: 97% on X and 96% on her GenderGP website!

I imagine she will believe that her poll was descended upon by transphobes who skewed the results.
I expect she’ll block out questions that naturally follow on from this reasoning as to why only 180 ‘typical people’ responded whilst 8820 ‘from a small fringe group’ did.
