Gender neutral rooms - hidden cameras

The Guardian has an article today about the rising problem of hidden cameras, where men film women getting changed/bathing/going to the loo. Lifetime prevalence of voyeuristic behaviour stated to be 11.5% but probably higher. A Canadian study suggesting 79% of men would engage in voyeuristic behaviour if there was no risk of being caught. Naturally no conclusions drawn by the Graun about the appropriateness and safety of gender neutral facilities! I’m beginning to wonder about the enthusiasm shown by some guys for GN bathrooms etc. link here:

Gender neutral toilets are used all across Europe without complaint

I can't remember if it was in Belgium or France, but recently I was in a "gender neutral" bathroom in Europe. Two cubicles for the toilets (they may have been marked M/F, I can't remember), which opened up into a very small sink area. I came out of the cubicle to a man washing his hands at the tiny sink (yes really!) and another man had just come in to use the loo, and there was no room for anyone to move and everyone looked horribly embarrassed and awkward. The man who had just come in to use the loo actually looked surprised, like he wasn't expecting a woman to be in there. It definitely had a different vibe to the times I have been in similar female only toilets.
