Morning all. What a fine bank holiday this is going to be. I can't even work out which way up to hold my pen!

I hope all those gerbils get full marks for the hot chocolate taster menu.

Regular small energy bursts, I reckon. Better than infrequent larger doses!

? is this about a couple of posts a while ago about wished-for reaction buttons like 😨and Fuzzy wanted a ODFOD [what's the 2nd D for?] one because she was feeling miserable?

Maybe your pen has a rubby-outy bit at the top? It looks like one o' they clicky pens, so it might be rubby-outy as well.

I thought maybe one end was for scratching my head in puzzlement over some of the more creative misspellings.

I think the second D is "dear"? Not sure what happened here, maybe Shedmistress conflated two of Fuzzy's posts and thought the ODFOD was a personal comment.

We might, in a moment of unforgiveable nastiness that we would instantly regret, bribe a gerbil to 'accidentally' serve Lemon Drizzle cake to people who hate it, but we wouldn't tell them to FO, Shedmistress, so if that is what it felt like please amend the Adios to Hasta Pronto

Welcome Exit. (That sounds weird). Feel free to ignore my mutterings and the occasional fit of giggles, I find myself talking to my students while marking their work, even though they aren't there.

Of course not Fuzzy - I can't think why anyone would think that, but just in case Shedmistress did, and I'm trying to 'put the tin lid' on the idea ASAP

When I first started teaching I had a girl in my tutor group whose parents were both professors of philosophy and described as “eccentric”. She became a nun.

Blimey, imagine having two professors of philosophy as your parents... Sod becoming a nun, I think I'd go full hermit!

Disclaimer, one of my DC is currently studying philosophy and is very good at it, but he's an incorrigible smartarse and always has been. Give me a nice spreadsheet any day.
