Writing a novel, are we, Cautious?
If it's helpful, a lot of tarps in the late 70s and early 80s (e.g. as used on market stalls, where I worked to supplement my meagre pocket money) were plastic but reinforced with a widely spaced warp and weft of thick thread. They were a bit crinkly and came in, iirc, clear, green and blue.
Also it is a myth that pigs can entirely destroy a body. I have this on the authority of a couple of coppers.
It's raining here too, Errol. I am delighted even though it will mean standing in it to buy my veg at the market. I was just thinking yesterday, as I walked Brains and Batshit, that the wheat and barley were in desperate need. They look good, but the grains aren't swelling.
