RMW is trying to confound him with some O level physics about speed, mass and energy.

I've seen a lot from the DrDave guy on SM. He knows his stuff about pool. But, of course, American, and American pool is different to UK pool.

Oh God, this is like a Carry On film. Now they are talking about a pool player called Shane van Boning (?). RMW is struggling with the name and gratefully accepts Dr A's suggestion to refer to him SVB.

A bridge is more awkward to use than a rest, hence why you see the rest often used in snooker and rarely see the bridge used.

Are you confusing a bridge and a spider there? A 'bridge' in this context is simply the player's hand.

Is RW saying that women don’t have as good mental stamina as men? Well, now. Plus ca change.

Given the number of tribunals women are putting themselves through, and the associated stress, I'd say mental stamina is not a problem in women.

Dr A evidence is that in his experience coaching over 20 years some women find their boobs can get in the way of getting a good stance. RMW wants a proper study with measurements.

I'm surprised no-one has made the argument, "men are disadvantaged by their beer-guts getting in the way? Or perhaps they have? 😃
