Did you send a card to Sandie Peggie

Many of us have been following the employment tribunal where Sandie Peggie is claiming harassment by NHS Fife and Dr Upton. Sandie was expected to change in a female changing room with a male bodied individual (Dr Upton) and when she tried to protest she was suspended. There are currently 21 threads on the feminism board discussing the tribunal.

It is now on pause until July which will make it almost two years since this started for Sandie. Many of us have sent postcards to Sandie via the Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy to let her know we support her.

I wondered if it would be helpful for people who've sent a card to just say so on this thread to give an idea of how much support Sandie has?

So I sent a postcard. Not sure if she will get them but at least the NHS Fife management will be aware of the post arriving in support of her

I posted mine today c/o the solicitors.

Newhorse · 24/02/2025 21:20

Could someone post the addresses of the hospital and the solicitors here if they have them to hand?

I sent one, the very, very least I could do. Very moving to see her daughter's post.

I hadn't, but I will now. Thanks for the reminder.

Redshoeblueshoe · 26/02/2025 22:09

I've sent one today.

Motnight · 27/02/2025 06:10

I sent one to her via the hospital.

Cailin66 · 27/02/2025 06:25

Better to send it to the hospital as it will be publicly seen. That then gives the women working there confidence to stand up for themselves like Sandie did.

snickersbarchild · 27/02/2025 06:45

I sent one and it was sent via the hospital. I was pleased to spot it in the Twitter post!

Chrysanthemum5 · 27/02/2025 07:40

I sent it via the hospital I wanted the Board and her colleagues to see how supported she is

Good to know @snickersbarchild .
I was a bit wary the hospital might be disappearing them.
It would be good to keep this going through to July, from anyone who feels moved to do so.

CriticalCondition · 27/02/2025 15:33

I've sent a postcard today via the hospital so it will be seen by staff there.

I had to go to the post office in my local corner shop to buy a stamp. I used a Sex Matters postcard with JKR's quote on the front. I saw the assistant having a good old read of it as she turned to put it in the postbag. Grin

OldChairMan · 01/04/2025 11:24

Just sent my postcard now. Thank you Sandie 💜💜

Igmum · 01/04/2025 17:52

I meant to. I brought one down to the kitchen table and it’s probably still here [looks round at a rather overloaded table] 😳 - will send it now if others are. Thanks for the prompt.

BestIntentioned · 01/04/2025 22:46

I haven’t sent a postcard yet but I contributed to her deceased Dad’s Just Giving page. I will send a card, though. I did wonder whether she’d realise who these random strangers were and why they were contributing
This thread is a great idea.

HeyWaffle · 01/04/2025 23:02

Can anyone point me to where I can get an eye catching postcard? Think my google algorithm has gone a bit wonky and I can’t find what I’m looking for!

Love this idea.

JumpingPumpkin · 02/04/2025 07:29

I sent a woman:adult human female postcard to her via the hospital. No idea if she’ll get it but anyone can read the message thanking her.

RoyalCorgi · 02/04/2025 08:30

There was a fundraiser for her too. She said she was going to donate the money to charity rather than keep it herself. Does anyone know whether she ever mentioned the name of the charity she was donating to?

She got a lot which were sent at the time of the Tribunal Part 1, so I think it will be passed on to her.

I found them hard to find now that Paperchase has gone. Couldn't see any sold by radfem organisations. These might be the sort of thing you're looking for:
