Did you send a card to Sandie Peggie

Many of us have been following the employment tribunal where Sandie Peggie is claiming harassment by NHS Fife and Dr Upton. Sandie was expected to change in a female changing room with a male bodied individual (Dr Upton) and when she tried to protest she was suspended. There are currently 21 threads on the feminism board discussing the tribunal.

It is now on pause until July which will make it almost two years since this started for Sandie. Many of us have sent postcards to Sandie via the Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy to let her know we support her.

I wondered if it would be helpful for people who've sent a card to just say so on this thread to give an idea of how much support Sandie has?

So I sent a postcard. Not sure if she will get them but at least the NHS Fife management will be aware of the post arriving in support of her

I sent a card to her c/o her solicitors. Amazing woman whose treatment clearly shows "the process is the punishment".

Agree @gailforce1 Sandie is an incredible woman

I wonder if it is helpful to send it via her work....so that they also know how supported she is?

I sent it to her via the hospital. It may never get to her but a public show of support will be noticed by other staff and will hopefully make NHS Fife realise what they've done

Yes @Seriestwo I sent a postcard so it is openly viewable by anyone who is in the mailroom or looks at the mail boxes etc

It never occurred to me to send a postcard, but what a brilliant idea! 🤩

Another thing that people could do is make use of the schemes that many health care organisations have which enable you to thank nurses and midwives. I'm sure someone here must know someone who's been treated by Sandie over the course of her long working life. Six degrees of separation and all that. If Sandie's hospital has such a scheme, maybe we could ensure that it's being used . . .

I did, via the hospital so they would know about my support. I addressed it to “the wonderful Sandie Peggie”.

I have never thought of doing that.
