'The Sandie Peggie case is clear and easy to understand. As its heart is a simple question: “should - as the law insists - Sandie Peggie be provided by NHS Fife a single sex changing space or should Dr Upton, who is a biological male, be permitted to undress alongside women?”

You, like me, may consider it madness that we have reached this stage but we are now living under the legacy of former First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, a monomaniacal trans activist whose contempt for feminists opposed to allowing men into women’s spaces hastened her political undoing.'

...
Mr Sarwar insisted he had “always been clear” single-sex spaces must be provided where required.
“No nurse,” he said, “should ever face disciplinary action for refusing to share a changing room.”
Mr Murray, added - as if Scottish Labour’s fingerprints were not smeared all over this utter fiasco - that it was time for the Scottish Government to “clear up the sheer mess that they’ve made of this whole issue”.
I applaud the shamelessness of Messrs Sarwar and Murray.
Perhaps, in time, they’ll accept responsibility for their party’s culpability in a creating a culture in which women are abused and vilified for insisting that sex is real.
Maybe, they’ll even apologise for abandoning women over this issue.
But neither Mr Sarwar nor Mr Murray can do anything about what has gone so badly wrong in NHS Fife. The power to act in the case of Sandie Peggie lies with Neil Gray.'

In 10 years time everyone will look back in this utter drivel and wonder how it managed to get to this.

How Sandie Peggie-Dr Beth Upton tribunal has revealed class divide at heart of gender debate

Gender identity theory is largely a middle-class pursuit, says Susan Dalgety
When giving evidence at the employment tribunal brought by nurse Sandie Peggie earlier this week, respondent Dr Beth Upton got to the heart of the matter early on. “I’ve never been spoken to like that in my life,” said the medic, describing the nurse’s reaction when she discovered the doctor – born male – stripping off in the female changing rooms at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

anyone got a share token for this?

Well, yes, but who will replace them? A Labour-Tory coalition?!

Think I could cope for one parliament if it helped SNP get back in connection with its core supporters and what they want.

Dr Upton has never been spoken to like that because he is a man and a doctor. SP is a woman, a nurse and has forgotten her place - how dare she assert her needs and rights.

sorry repeat post but SNP and unions are just focused on a tiny minority of the population and don’t want to engage with the rest of us

Great. Loved this:
"Each, in their own unique way, handled things dreadfully.
Both men swerved to avoid their roles in allowing crank activists to erode the rights of women but, no matter how sharply they jerked their wheels, they couldn’t prevent themselves smashing head-on into the consequences of their foolishness".

There is no doubt that the witterings of countless other male politicians eagerly promoting the rights of men to access undressing women (Starmer, Lammy, Cashman, Russell Moyle and countless others) clearly allies them with predators. Despite the demands for the silent reversal over that golden bridge, they've been so condemnatory and bullying of women that as Sarwar has discovered, women aren't going to keep quiet.

(and yes, the number of women also handing over the rights of women to safety and privacy is also shameful)
