This weekend BBC had Kellie Maloney predicting the football scores on BBC Sport. It’s part of a series with Chris Sutton and each week guests are invited to predict the Premiership scores. I personally found this weeks choice of guest particularly repulsive. Kellie is someone who has been violent towards his ex-wife. It is a well known fact that a team loosing is often a trigger for a man’s violence towards their partners and children. And the BBC chose someone who has committed violence towards his wife to choose the scores??? Of all the people out there who support football they chose Kellie Maloney ??? Why? What on earth was the thought process behind this???

If a man is strangling his wife and he says the only thing that stopped him killing her was his children coming in, why isn't he arrested for attempted murder?

Yes @Datun
Why is a man who's claimed that it's OK for 9 years olds to have sex with adults platformed by the BBC and allowed into schools?
Why is a man claiming to be a woman with a history of advocating for extreme porn promoting VAWG and who campaigns to reduce child safeguarding age limits, platformed by the media?
Why is a man claiming to be a woman, convicted of attempted murder who's been in prison for decades, sharing platforms with MPs and involved with young people as he campaigns to remove women's rights?
Why is the media not joining up the dots about the repeated child abuse scandals being exposed in organisations that go into schools while campaigning for the removal of the rights of women and girls to same sex spaces?

So many questions.

Depressingly the answers to many of them involve the media completely failing to exercise the due diligence and moral values that they exercise in so many other areas - just as seen in the platforming of Maloney.

Paul Merson, wife beater, was part of the Strictly line up this year. It's not confined to TW.

And of course, Boy George has been recently employed by the BBC despite his history of assault and false imprisonment.

So, it seems the BBC is quite happy to platform and support men with violent histories.
