There are no issues at all with trans people participating in sport. Cycling has set a good precedent with this. There are women-only categories, which ensure those with female biology can compete on a safe, fair and level pegging with others in that category. And there's an open category, in which any athlete might participate and which doesn't discriminate on the basis of gender presentation. This position is so reasonable that it's hard to find any legitimate causes for objecting to it.

Nope, in fact in many cases where men have forced their way into women's sports, they've been praised, feted and put on the cover of sports magazines.

However, there have been many women who've been stopped from reaching their goals in their chosen sport by the invasion of men.

I wonder if these people ever stop to wonder why women’s sport came into being in the first place - and why, if TW are allowed into women’s sport, any other man wouldn’t be allowed?

It illustrates how many people don't really think of women as being worthwhile independent people in their own right.

I mean, it's not like those women are doing anything useful, is it? Why wouldn't they be glad to revolve their sports around a man and selflessly focus on making him happy like good mummy people do? Suck up the injuries and career loss with a smile because it's making him feel good.

I was actually a member, so I gave them my money.

Didn't realise at the time that it was to fund the support of endangered flora and fauna in the form of white middle-class males to the exclusion of women, girls, and anything that could possibly be related to environmental or animal welfare concerns. Oh, and to support the largely retired middle-class of both sexes to bugger up the finances and health of working class people by superglueing themselves to trains and roads when not chucking soup and poster paint at historical and cultural treasures.

There's a US trans woman poster on TikTok who is posting about committing to enter only men's sporting competitions this year. Interestingly they're getting a lot of pushback from their coaches etc who want them to enter women's competitions. Presumably for the win/record breaking achievement. Lots of support in the comments.
