'A trans woman has been jailed for six and a half years after being found guilty of rape following a night out.
Lexi Secker raped a woman in Blunsdon, Wiltshire, on 23 April 2023. The attack took place before Secker began identifying as a woman.
The attack took place in secluded woods after the pair took a walk "under the pretence of sobering up".
Secker, 35, of Lowbourne, near Melksham, has been ordered to carry out her sentence in a male prison and will remain on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Throughout the sentencing hearing, barristers and the judge referred to the defendant as "Ms Secker" and "she".
However, in a victim personal statement, the woman raped by Secker used the name "Alex" to describe her attacker.
She said: "He took away my trust in people and myself. The assault consumed me with shame and fear."
The woman, who attended court in person to see Secker sentenced, added she had experienced "unbearable anxiety, shame and fear" since the attack.'

Fuck every single barrister and judge that colluded in this utter pish. This not a woman in any shape or form.

I can't imagine how his victim felt hearing the court pandering to his bullshit.

Flowers to her, brave woman.

So it appears that after the rape he created this trans persona, creating videos on YouTube and being vocal on social media, for what I assume as evidence to assist his defence in his criminal trial.

Probably even worse for activists that now it is seen that people become activists to try to avoid (or lessen) criminal proceedings.

You have to wonder if someone is giving these people advice on how to escape justice and that currently creating a trans persona is one way to do it.

At the very least the fact that articles are published with this false name prevents people doing very basic background checks on the guy.

There have been several cases where a man who claims to be trans has had a more.lenient sentence or avoided a prison sentence altogether because 'male prison would be hard'.

So it would make sense to give it a try if one was facing jail. And yes there is also the attempt to 'kill off' the previous persona, history, and name.

I posted a Telegraph article about this in the It will never happen thread. The extra information on the judge does concern me regarding sentencing

especially as the judge being quoted here

+ + The judge said he was sentencing Secker “with regard to how difficult a prison sentence in a male institution will be for you”. + +

Did he reduce the sentence because Secker claimed to be trans? I'm struggling to see any other interpretation to that comment.

Yes, that struck me too and it's exactly what I concluded/

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 29/09/2024 16:46

Well done to her for putting herself through the trauma of a rape trial, and for not letting herself be bullied into referring to him as a woman.

YesterdaysFuture · 29/09/2024 17:44

You remove the lenient sentences for being trans and then you see the amount of trans identified offenders drop massively.

YouTube should remove his channel as it was part of his grift to avoid jail time.

The BBC seems unable to accept that there might be more to the trans issue than puff pieces promoting drag queens and middle-aged men in dodgy wigs crying about being misgendered. The bigger, darker and more profound story – that perverts with criminal intentions are dressing up as human-rights activists – gets no attention from the BBC. But it is worth asking who benefits when men are free to identify into women-only spaces? Who benefits from the argument that children can consent to medical interventions that affect the rest of their lives? Who benefits from arresting the physical development of children? The BBC’s refusal to even acknowledge, let alone ask, these inconvenient questions is starting to look a lot like deeply ingrained bias.

Nails it. Well said, Jo!

ArabellaScott · 30/09/2024 12:15

There should be an investigation into the BBC's bias on these issues.

Lisa Nandy, unfortunately, is not going to even think about that for a moment, because she shares the same bias.
