I was just sat thinking how much progress has been made for women over the last decade or so, with regards to this. I know there is still a long way to go and some serious issues. I thought it would be nice to have a thread of what has actually changed to our benefit.
so a couple of things that I think have helped tremendously are;
-
Maya Forstater wining her case and enshrining Gender Critical as a legitimate belief. this has given me the legal safety net to speak up at work to protect our changing rooms and toilets and about the use of pronouns. have found many people agreeing with me
-
The Cass Report, which has put a stop to the Tavistock and I think it helped Suzy Green on her way out of Mermaids (that may be inaccurate though)
what things do you think have made a real material difference?
