That's a report. What did she actually say?

I posted a link to the audio higher up the thread, maybe page 3? It cuts in halfway through the discussion but you can hear for yourself what she actually said.

She doesn’t seem to be comparing trans teens to poop - what she’s saying is that there’s no point in academic brilliance if the child is damaged by gender ideology and chemically castrated during their teen years. It’s this which is the poop, not the child. At no point did she compare a child to poop. She’s saying chemical castration and gender ideology is ruining teens - this is the poop in the classroom.

To address previous comments that I’ve only just seen…

I’m not defending this woman and I’m not suggesting it was the best analogy to use. It was clumsy. However I can’t see that she said what has been reported - it’s a typical bad faith exaggeration.

I’m not defending her or her politics. However, I think it’s important to acknowledge the truth and not rely on biased reporting - and I would say that even if we were talking about someone with the opposite views to me. I feel very frustrated with the constant bending of the truth to score points and I’m not interested in blind tribal thinking. Honesty and accuracy matters, and everyone on all sides of a debate deserves that.

Many thanks for that post. She did not, as you point out, call trans children 'poop', she called chemical castration, double mastectomies for 14-year-olds, and litter boxes in the classroom for 'furries' (politically correct euphemism kicks in) poo. And I agree with her. It is.
A pity her politics are not mine, but one cannot agree with everything everyone thinks, after all.
I am not sure how you re-educate someone out of the obvious fact that having children who identify as 'furries' pooing in the classroom in a litter box is quite literally poo in the classroom.
Am I allowed to say 'sh*t'? MN moderation will tell me, doubtless. Should I play safe and say the USian (Canadian?) 'poop', or the English 'poo'? I think I will go with 'poo' - edited thus.

Need to add to my previous post: I agree with you @SpidersAreShitheads, 'poop' was not the greatest analogy for the wicked things done in the name of affirmative action for trans children. Wicked is a better word? Furries using litter boxes, girls having double mastectomies at 14, feeding teenagers puberty blockers so they are sterilized? That is wickedness - evil - in the classroom.

FlirtsWithRhinos · 24/09/2024 09:38

The furry litter box thing didn't happen. Please don't give those who would deny the harm genderism does an excuse to dismiss it.

For genderists, 3% wrong in a list of criticism that's 97% true is more than enough "poop" to decide there can't possibly any valid criticism at all.

I want to add that it's also interesting just how male Blokey McBlokeface is, despite obviously putting some effort in, there's a big uncanny valley feeling when I watch the video. It's almost like lying about reality isn't the winner he thinks it is.

Deep down they know very well that they're as male as can be and we can all see that. It's one of the reasons they're permanently angry. They're not what they want to be and they can't make other people think they are, and that makes them furious because their demands aren't met.

@Grammarnut You can use any "rude" words you like on MN, they don't get censored.
