SNP MP, 'feared for his safety' after transwoman threats

... yet Chris Law voted for self ID, and called it a 'catastrophe' when the GRR Bill was blocked.

Chris would have 'Alannah' use women's spaces, despite 'Alannah' causing him 'fear and alarm'.

What's the point? Do you expect people to change their views on an entire group of people based on the experience with 1 individual?

As Mother in AbFab said

“Just the one, dear?”

Christinapple · 07/09/2024 13:27

GailBlancheViola · 06/09/2024 15:29

The point, as ever, has whizzed straight over your head.

What's the point? Please explain.

ApocalipstickNow · 07/09/2024 13:29

Indeed Chris. What’s the point?

GailBlancheViola · 07/09/2024 13:34

I can't be bothered to explain it to you Christinapple, have a really good think yourself, re-read the opening post and see if you can join the dots.

Right, because no one else has ever been attacked by a man wearing a frock have they?

And those who protest against drag queens or transgender people can't possibly be bad people, right?

Happy to condemn anyone for having images of CSA, no one should justify terrible behaviour, whatever form of abuse that is.

SinnerBoy · 10/09/2024 07:41

Yes, it's rather telling that one side always defends "their" lot to the hilt, no matter what, but the other is happy to criticise bad actors on theirs. I wonder why that is?

Well, the fact that he's a 'neo Nazi' should give you a clue that he's not a good person.

ArabellaScott · 10/09/2024 10:46

This is entirely irrelevant to the thread. Just spurious defamatory accusations to try desperately to distract.

Just like the implication made by this thread?

Christinapple · 10/09/2024 11:19

The links I posted are perfectly valid to the thread.

If you don't want people pointing out some people who protest against trans people and/or drag performers do bad things, then you shouldn't be cherry picking articles where trans people have done bad things to try to make them all look bad.

ArabellaScott · 10/09/2024 11:23

Eh? The thread is about the MP, Chris Law, being attacked by a transwoman.

What 'implication' is there?

The point of the thread is that Mr Law has campaigned for self ID, and therefore campaigned against single sex spaces, and supported the lie that 'transwomen are not a threat'.

Yet he has declared himself afraid of a transwoman. Why is it Law is allowed to be afraid of transwomen, but women who don't want to share spaces with them are dismissed?

Absolutely hee haw to do with drag queens or nazis.

You could always start another thread if you want to talk about Nazis.

Try to imagine how this post would look if "trans woman" was replaced by almost any other group of people.

(btw note there is a space between trans and woman.)

ArabellaScott · 10/09/2024 14:14

You can replace 'transwoman' with 'man' if you prefer.

There would only be a space if we were talking about a type of woman. Tall woman, thin woman, quiet woman, happy woman. As transwomen are men, if a space must be added then it would be before the man which gives us transwo man. What do you prefer, transwoman or transwo man?

AlexaAdventuress · 10/09/2024 14:28

I've met Chris Law a few years ago and had had a decent conversation about forestry restoration projects and climate resilience (not gender self ID). He's a massive bloke. He was at the time the tallest MP in the House, and given that there's 650 of them, that gives you some idea of how unusually tall he is. Not the sort of individual any sane person would pick a fight with. So if he's frightened, that doesn't bode well for the rest of us!

What's the point? Do you expect people to change their views on an entire group of people based on the experience with 1 individual?

Do you support proper data collection of offending by biological sex so we can see if it's 'just one' or if it's male pattern offending?

SpanielintheWorks · 10/09/2024 14:47

Do you expect people to change their views on an entire group of people based on the experience with 1 individual?

But it's not 1 individual. It's male individuals, of which there are billions.
