Listening to him on the Giles Brandretj podcast Rosebud - talking about Graham Linehan. Giles commented that he (Richard) has remained supportive of Glinner and Richard talked about Glinner's book where he is not so much transphobic as defending women's rights.

I knew he had to be one of the good ones!! 🥰

One of the most ridiculous things about this current "movement" (other than the obvious people with penises wanting to be called women thing) is that if you're not an actual TRA then you're at risk of being labelled transphobic. I had to listen to someone the other day saying Sex Matters was a "hate group" and that Helen Joyce knows nothing about trans matters. No, she's only researched and written a best-selling book about the subject!

He gave a nice quote for GL’s book.

I haven't really heard or read many interviews with him so it was really interesting to hear about his childhood. He's a very modest chap.
