A genuine question.
I don't get it.
Is the bride female and the groom male? If so, where's the queer element? I just don't get it.

Didn't read the article as I like the brain cells I have left, but I'm guessing there's a whole loaf of main character syndrome bread, buttered with self indulgence margarine, and topped with a little frisson of gender jam.

They looked like they had a brilliant wedding day/weekend/week/whatever.

‘Liking the brain cells I have left’ is the best line I’ve read in a long time.

It looks like a brilliant wedding, and a very expensive one. (I idly wondered if the Winkelried parents prefer a transmasc nonbinary offshoot to a lesbian daughter.)

But, bloody hell, how did the nuptial couple find the time to attend their wedding in between costume changes?! I did actually like all their outfits - they had so very many!

yep. Butch, masculine presenting, non feminine presenting lesbians don't seem to exist anymore.

😆😆😆😆

I'm GC as they come but I don't like this. It's a couple talking about their wedding, which looks glorious and very expensive. How they choose to define themselves is up to them. I may not think the way they do but it does not affect me. Why ridicule this couple to make your point?
Are they claiming to represent the entire gay community? Some really nasty comments on this thread.
I'm so glad my loved ones aren't rich enough to have their wedding written up in Vogue.

”Being a queer couple and J being trans masculine non-binary…” 🤨

fair enough. I've reported my thread and asked Mumsnet to take it down. On reflection, I shouldn't have started it before reading the whole article and should leave my criticism of non binary etc away from specific people.
It was a beautiful wedding.
